I LOVE this place. It is small enough to be intimate, but large enough to have a variety of clothing suitable for work, casual wear, and dress-up occasions. The designers are definitely not "among the usual suspects," and all of the clothing I've purchased there has been made in the USA. The staff is great at pairing jewelry and accessories with clothing, and they are extraordinarily acccommodating about looking for sizes, shipping items, etc. Is there room for six stars?

The Elephant's Trunk is one of my favorites to go check out whenever I am visiting friends in Boston. I am always looking for interesting jewelry and I am never disappointed when I am here. My late Mother's love for jewelry always took us to fascinating places. New York City and Washington DC were not as interesting. I give this boutique 5 stars. The people there were helpful and friendly.
