The pharmacy staff themselves are wonderful. The store as a company is a joke. Running a pharmacy with ONE tech and ONE pharmacist is insane. On top of verifying, processing and filling orders, they are also answering the phones and running register. That is absolutely asinine. Not too mention due to horrible ordering skill, they constantly mess up my medications. I've been off one for a week now due to it 'being on order'.

This CVS pharmacy is the worst. It takes at least 15 minutes or more for them to pick up the phone, if they even pick up the phone. Call else where unless this is the very last CVS in your area

This store is seriously understaffed. HIRE SOME COMPETENT PHARMACY STAFF!Yesterday my brother waited 90 minutes to fill my paper prescriptions. Seems to be a chronic problem, even when electronically RX’ed. I’ve had to wait up to an hour on several occasions.The otc stock is typically low, very evident when looking for things online. Overpriced if it’s in stock.Dusty, cramped, unkempt appearance throughout the store. Sloppy?!At best this an inconvenience store.Need to update signage re being on a 24 hour store to current accurate hours.There also is delivery charge and it still takes a few days to receive them. If there were same day delivery it would almost be worth paying for, but still isn’t acceptable to pay for. Not a good business policy when you need a Med asap, or are a senior and have to take a bus! It takes at least an hour to get a bus, fill script and catch a bus home. Nowhere to sit and wait.I would use another pharmacy but this is only 5 minutes from where I live! Might be better off though.

I've been using this location for years. Seems like there are a lot of entitled whiners here. This store serves a massive area and, like every other place right now, have trouble staffing occasionally. Note this review is for the PHARMACY...people should specify! Perhaps because I go on the off times (not at lunch, not at 2:30 when schools let out, not between 5 and 7 pm) I rarely have a line. I can't say enough about the help the pharmacists have given me...even when they are slammed, which is most of the time.RE VACCINES...seriously, think about it...just because there is no line does NOT mean they have time to stop everything just for you! Scheduling ahead of time gives them time to FILL PRESCRIPTIONS without interruptions. Could you just walk into your doctor's office and say "Hey, I want a shot now"???Not sure if they are open? CALL!Someone parking in the "family" spot? Report it to the Manager instead of whining and low rating on Yelp.Can't walk into the pharmacy? Go to the Story Ave. drive through.

No one at the location waiting and they will not give me a flu shot. Made me look online which I did and you cannot make an appointment for at least two days. So I called and asked if I could come in and get a flu shot and they will not take me as a walk in when they know who I am and with no one getting a flu shot at all. Great service as always at CVS. Glad you're here to help people! Real hard to say come in back in and we will gladly take care of you as a longtime customer.

Just wanna give a shout-out to whatever employee parks in the "families with young children" parking spot, daily. It's a red SUV. IDGAF where I park I don't mind walking with my baby because I'm not disabled and honestly need the exercise I just find it in poor taste for an employee to park there when it's NEWBURYPORT aka there are plenty of spots close to the door. And also? What about the mom who just had a c-section who wants to park thereTo pick up her RX after giving birth ?? Stop being lazy. Also, the pharmacist refused to fill my RX because she apparently doesn't like or respect recovering addicts. Again, no class or integrity. Thank god I'm moving and never have to darken their doorstop again.

Cvs is still my favorite pharmacy and store..employees are always helpful and friendly..I recently purchased a silver mood ring from here..and I gotta say the quality of this ring and price is just awesome!!!! I've bought expensive rings from jewelry shops that have turned my fingers green after 3 days of wearing them..it's been 2wks with this ring and I can still wear it with no problems..I always find cool little treasures at this store ? thanks cvs and keep up the good work ??

Had an unfortunate experience during which an emergent prescription was requested and reported as filled via the CVS app but upon arrival I was told that the pharmacy had closed an hour earlier than there posted hours. Why bother filling a script and marking it as ready after closing early? Would have just been easier had it not been filled until the morning, avoiding an unnecessary trip...

People in recovery or those on MAT beware! the pharmacist refused to transfer a certain medication based on their own biases. I won't be giving them my business again. I do want to say that I do appreciate the tech who attempted to fix the problem and waited on hold with my home pharmacy for over 14 minutes. (Thank you!) however it's crazy the way the pharmacist spoke to me and neglected to help me. I've been on this medication for over 4 years and I've never experienced this sort of behavior.

This. Place. Is. Not. Open. 24/7. Update the hours. I needed something urgent and schlepped all the way there from the island as that was the closest and it closes every single day and does not open till 7am

Always waiting for a very long time to pick up prescriptions. I received a text that my two prescriptions are ready for pickup and when I arrived only one was available. Never can get them on the phone

I’ve tried to get the hours updated, CVS wants to pretend this is open 24 hours it’s not. I’ve called corporate and they are under the impression it’s open 24 hours. The regional manager refuses to return my calls.

Falsely advertises as being open 24 hours online. Posted hours of operation are 7am to midnight, but the store is generally closed by 11pm regardless. Please stop falsely advertising and bringing people to your store needlessly after hours when they should be going elsewhere at that time for their needs.
