So far just consulting with Mike but vibe is very good. Probably not cheap but if you have a classic BMW Schneller is supposedly the place to go. Mike the owner struck me as a straight shooter & my instincts are usually correct. Keep away from BMW dealerships in general. Price and quality usually not so hot.

Mike, Brian, and co. are excellent mechanics, and excellent people. I have been taking my car to them for over 3 years, and they have been spot on with repairs, professional, and informative. Highly recommended!

So I got my first BMW in 1996 and Schneller was my first mechanic. Here I am 27 years later and they still service my cars. Schneller is unique because they are fluent with older BMW models like the e30 and e36 as well as much newer cars. They do quality work and stand behind it.Services: Transmission

he tried to charge me 775.00 for spark plugs and coils for a 4 cylinder mini, and 660.00 for an oil change and cabin filter. when I asked for a reason, he quoted high healthcare costs he said that parts for plugs and coils cost 440.00, so he's charging 330.00 in labor for a job that takes less than 30 minutes? sure I'll pay the one hour minimum labor - but the highest rate nationally is 155.00

I have never had such a helpful and good experience with a business. Mike as well as the rest of the Schneller team has been great at communicating and doing all they could to help with my car and situation so that I was able to manage all of the issues that needed to be taken care of. As a result of Mike's help, advise and experience, I was able to do much better with my car insurance. Without his help I would have received thousands less. They are honest and helpful and I highly recommend them.

I called Schneller because I had an "old BMW parts mystery" that I couldn't solve. BMW of Nashville couldn't solve it. RealOEM was confusing on this issue. And the forums were non-responsive despite excruciatingly detailed posts I write (with pictures!). But the very patient gent on the phone listened to my tale and actually went out and took pictures of the area in question on an E30 they have. The clouds parted. I could see the answer. So, even though I didn't buy anything from them, I was able to get some very helpful help based on their deep institutional knowledge of the E30. Super impressed with them. Would absolutely patronise Schneller if I lived in Mass (and I already hadn't torched my car in frustration). This is what makes it still fun to work on these cars: people who care about them as more than their job, but as true BMW geeks. Thanks Schneller!
