“If you've never experienced a small town pharmacy, you have to try it to know why they are generally much higher rated than the chains. And there may be no better place that Rowley Pharmacy.They may not carry as broad a range as the chains, they have almost anything you need, especially when it comes to Rx filling. They go out of their way to help you with getting what you need, and in the 18 months or so I've been a customer I have never once taken issue with their policies or actions. They work with my medical provider and although because of old habits dying hard, I have tended to call and confirm when a script was sent in, they have always been polite and accommodating, and never missed a beat.Lastly while their hours may be tighter than you are used to, I cannot help noticing how most chains have taken to reducing hours or even simply shuttering some of their locations. Kinda makes store hours less of an issue!”

“So happy about this place we got to the beach about 8 am and realized we did not get towels everyone was still closed but this place was opened we got some towels sand buckets and some souvenirs and I had some heartburn and was able to get some meds to help. “Best pharmacy in Amesbury and I've been to all the others in the area. Someone always acknowledges that your there, unlike the other places I've been to for prescriptions. Also you'll see the same people working there for years, whereas other places have new pharmacists and tech's coming and going. It's nice to not have to share personal information with a new pharmacists everytime you need a refill. What is now Walgreens has been Zeaks Furniture then Osco Drug, then Brooks Drug, then Rite Aid, now Walgreens and I wouldn't be surprised if I'm missing one more. I've seen several pharmacists and employees go through there. And CVS ... I won't even comment on that place.”

“This pharmacy has been a lifesaver many times over. The pharmacist goes above and beyond. I had an issue with a hospital not calling in my medication and she stayed late to fill it. Seth is always really helpful & advocates for patients. He also remembers you, more like a small town pharmacy. There are long wait times sometimes and they do have to close early sometimes due to staffing but that is a corporate issue and not their fault.”

“It's been a crazy, hectic day and I'm exhausted but it wouldn't be right not to take the time to write a quick review to recognize the outstanding and exceptional customer service I received today from Derek, the Pharmacy manager at CVS on Storey Ave in Newburyport, MA. There was a pretty big mixup today with my insurance that was not only going to be an inconvenience for me but also was going to be a huge source of anxiety for me as well with a new medication. I have picked up other prescriptions before, either for myself or family members when Derek has been working and he always is so pleasant and accommodating. I have noticed the way he interacts with customers because it is not ordinary-he is usually smiling and making a well-above average effort to fill prescriptions, answer patient questions and provide suggestions. That pharmacy location is always insanely busy-it is ridiculous, in fact....and I am there frequently and I have never seen him not hustling to get everyone taken care of and doing it with a smile. In this post-Covid, crazy world where most people don't even make eye contact any more he is a diamond in the rough. I am not sure why there are not more good reviews for this location, because I know for a fact that there are plenty of people (some who I know and others whom I don't but have been side by side with) at that store that receive the same great service I am describing. Hopefully more people will take time out of their day to give credit where it is due too! Thank you Derek!”

“I've been going to this Seabrook CVS store & pharmacy for a couple yrs now. The pharmacy employees are accommodating, have lightening fast response times, are very kind, honest & respectful. Even with the most private topics relating to my health/diagnoses. I feel comfortable & safe in their hands.I prefer shopping here & like the variety & brands of items that I can grab all at one store. Most things however are extremely expensive in comparison to other stores. If I have coupons/rewards I shop here in a heartbeat, otherwise I'll go to other less expensive stores for the basics (i.e. frozen foods, ice cream, toilet paper, detergent).Reading these reviews, I get it, I mean we all have not-so great days. On my end, there have been a few issues - but minor & forgettable. Allison, actually all the women & young man at the pharmacy are incredibly nice, making it easier for me during my difficult times.Store cashiers are wonderful too considering staff shortages & all the "extras" they do (of which includes more than standing behind a register waiting for customers.) I understand the multiple roles they fill - it's not easy.Respect & kindness is a two way street, that's just how it is. The way you treat people, the way you respond to others, will change the course of how the communications will go. That's typically how it goes.CVS Seabrook has a team of human assets at that store. Pharmacy is top notch. I appreciate all of you. Thank you for all you do.”

“A very kind and helpful employee named Iris went above and beyond for me tonight. My whole week was stressful and challengi g. My remote key fob on my car needed a new battery. It stopped working when I had come out of a grocery store earlier in the evening. I Could not even get into my car and had to figure that one out.Then I proceeded to try three or four stores and almost gave up until I went into Walgreens. By then I was tired and stressed. Thankfully, They had what I wanted. Iris was kind, helpful and so gracious and offered to help me put the new battery in the car remote. She made my night! Thank you!!!”

“I've been using this location for years. Seems like there are a lot of entitled whiners here. This store serves a massive area and, like every other place right now, have trouble staffing occasionally. Note this review is for the PHARMACY...people should specify! Perhaps because I go on the off times (not at lunch, not at 2:30 when schools let out, not between 5 and 7 pm) I rarely have a line. I can't say enough about the help the pharmacists have given me...even when they are slammed, which is most of the time.RE VACCINES...seriously, think about it...just because there is no line does NOT mean they have time to stop everything just for you! Scheduling ahead of time gives them time to FILL PRESCRIPTIONS without interruptions. Could you just walk into your doctor's office and say "Hey, I want a shot now"???Not sure if they are open? CALL!Someone parking in the "family" spot? Report it to the Manager instead of whining and low rating on Yelp.Can't walk into the pharmacy? Go to the Story Ave. drive through.”

I will say that one of my shipments was late, but this was due to FedEx and not Freedom Pharmacy! Freedom Pharmacy proactively called me after we both got a notification of delivery delay.
