This company has been sued multiple times because of their lies about pay, lack of commission, and abrupt changes in pay structure. If that doesn't tell you enough, you make about $12/hr (they told me $60k per year in my interview) and they expect you to pay for things out of pocket, with no reimbursements.Bottom Line: They will steal from you and make it seem sincere.

This is, by far, the best company i have ever worked for. A huge reason for that is because of the people and leadership that work with you. It is a very self motivated type of environment. If you don't push yourself to exceed, you wont, but your trainers and managers will do anything they can to help you succeed. It is a sales job, but the products you are tasked with representing, almost sell themselves. But unlike other companies, if you do have a not so great week, you still have that added security knowing you will have a decent paycheck every week, no matter what. Then get commission and bonuses after the month is over, and they are not stingy with their commissions like other companies ive worked for.The thing that I probably like the most is how independent it is. No one looking over your shoulder constantly, You are very self reliant. You go to different locations, you set up your display, you work your show, then clean up and on to the next one.But the best thing about this place is the leadership and people you work with. You can talk to anyone for input or advice. From the person running the show down the street from you, your trainers, the regional managers, to the national manager, and even owner of the company. Special Thanks to Ricky. He literally runs the whole show, being one of the busiest people you will ever meet. But he still finds time to be the absolute best boss you could ever ask for. He deals with hundreds of people every day, but still gives you his 100% attention on you and whatever you need. I never felt nervous about asking him anything, which is rare when you talk to the boss', boss', boss.I really did not want to leave after 2-1/2 years with the company, but an opportunity to work with the government came up, so i had to take it. But that should tell you how good it was to work here, because I have no incentive to say so

This company is based on lies and deciept. They’ll promise their employees a livable wage and then when payday comes you get pennies. Their guaranteed base doesn’t actually show up in your paycheck if you don’t perform well. If you want to work 60 hours a week for $12 an hour, sometimes driving over an hour each way, this is your company!

Working for Summit Retail was the best choice for me. I recall applying for jobs and Summit stuck out to me the most. There schedule works for me. No need to wait years for promotions to earn good money. With Summit you could make and move up in the company within weeks. You're compensated on overall sales of the program you're promoting. Summit has dozens of awesome products to promote and with paid training and great mentors to assist you. Working for Summit Retail for me feels like this is a partnership. I look forward to going in the days I'm scheduled this is not a job for me but a way to earn doing something I love to do and to do it with company who continues to push for growth and we are doing this together!

I enjoy the team work culture we have at Summit. You get great results because you believe in the company. At work is like you are working for your own company and you strive for success always. I have been with Summit for 14 months, during this time I have shared and learned plenty. I’m sure there is more coming .

I started with Summit in November 2018. I was hesitant to take the job because historically, I don't do well in sales jobs and I don't like being hounded for my shortcomings. I ended up taking the job because at the time, I was unemployed after moving out of state and pretty much had nothing to lose. I expected to struggle for maybe six months and the job would just buy me some time to find something else. Two years later, I'm still with the company and thriving. I couldn't speak more highly of the management. I haven't worked with a single manager I didn't like here. Every single authority figure has treated me with the utmost of respect and even on days when I haven't exactly been on my A game, they've had my back. The times when I've fallen short on my sales quotas, my management team has always been encouraging and uplifting. My commission rate has never been lowered and they offer certain bonuses on commissions sometimes. I have a pretty steady schedule, although sometimes it changes around the holidays. Summit has helped me grow from someone who was not comfortable in a sales position to someone who is really confident in sales. They have really taken the time to invest in me, and all of their employees.
