When Henry Wainer ran this company, it was a shinning star, a truly incredible specialty foods company and now, bought by Chef’s Warehouse, just a sad horrible state of affairs over there. They cannot deliver on what used to be the corner stone of the business. Service and reliability. It’s a sad state of affairs and a true bummer.

Sid Wainer's used to be a real asset to the South Coast area, attracting people for many miles -- I even took visitors there to share the wonders. No more. While I wish the Wainer family happy retirement, the new owners have a different vision. Gradually diminishing and almost non-existent now, and I don't plan to return. Formerly great selections in their carefully tended cheese room, fresh and unusual vegetables and fruits unavailable elsewhere, creative suggestions for their unique products, chocolate in all forms... all gone and not found in other stores, near or far. So sad.

0800 appointment checked in at 0700 in the dock at 0715. Friendly staff. Unloaded by 0930. $129 lumper fee for 19 pallets. Parking on street nearby.

June 21st - Driver saw my flashing lights and cut right into bike path at St Francis house in Boston. Stopped for a second after hitting me and proceeded to go into garage. No website contact info. Will wait for driver to come by again tomorrow to follow up.

Drivers - No regard for anyone on road. Made a left into bike path on Boylston today near St. Frances House and collided with truck. Stopped and then took off into garage. Does SW even care? Fine that driver!!!!!

Friendly people make sure to have a seal on your trailer even if you have ltl, they check the seal and its a $250 fine for not having a seal on the trailer

They open at 6 am . I went there today . Easy in and out . Lumper, make sure you got seal or lock on trailor . Everything is cool there .
