Muffler & Brake is the only place in the New Bedford area that I trust to service all of my vehicles. From my 2007 4 cylinder n/a mazda that took regular oil, to my new-to-me 5 cylinder 2015 volvo s60 t5 awd which needs full synthetic, they are hands down the best. I probably pay a couple bucks more than I would if I brought it to JiffyLube..however you cant beat the peace of mind you get knowing that your car isn't being touched by a bunch of 18 y/o kids fresh out of high school. The owner has been in business for decades, and its family owned/operated. They've got the experience, they are a pleasure to deal with, and they get you in and out quickly, knowing your car is good to go. Muffler&Brake has my business forever.

I needed a battery ASAP after AAA came to jump start my battery. I had been to Muffler and Brake many times for various services and I live nearby so it made sense to head there. The battery for my car was an unusual size and very pricy- but much to my surprise they gave me a discount on the price. I was very pleased because it was unexpected. Not that I needed one- but it gave me another reason to head back...

When we take our cars to Muffler and Brake we are confident that we are going to get an honest assessment of the problem and fair estimate of the work that needs to be done. No smoke and mirrors.

Stay away from this place please your helping your self. They are liars & crooks they do a horrible job on everything and it blows my mind that they still in business and running. Did a simple oil change they left the oil filter loose and my engine blew the next day. I had my mufflers repaired that's what they specialize on & in the 1 year two months had to get it re-done at Lou's custom exhaust best place ever for exhaust repair they are very reasonable, as long they open I'm always going to get my exhaust repair done At Lou's custom exhaust in Westport. please stay away from this place they are the worst around in this area to do any work in your vehicle.
