Excellent, helpful, and overall outstanding employee- Rico made all the difference. I was very impressed with the atmosphere of the store. Going to exchange your valuables is a difficult thing and I have always felt uncomfortable in the other places I have been to. It makes a difference how you are spoken to from the first time you hear someone representing a business. I felt strongly enough to take the time to recognize Rico and your establishment. Thank you!

I always use empire loan the people are friendlly an they work with you they are not like other loan places an I went to a few others they are not reasonable anyway until today I picked up my chain an it just smelled awful they cleaned it an must of not dried it an put it in the plastic bag so it’s been it the bag for 2 months I’m very upset the guy that I was doing business with dipped it in something that smelled like Lysol made the smell worse so I’ll clean my jewelry myself but overall that’s minor stuff i definitely recommend this place the business is good they will work with you

Went to New Bedford Empire loan location to.drop a guitar off . I needed money so I knew I could get a quick dollar. I was bringing in my 1980 Gibson black beauty custom guitar.well luckily I had brought my PRS custom 24 that I borrowed against before. At the time that I brought my prs guitar there were other people there. They were polite and very knowledgeable. The guy behind the counter this time was very rude like he didn't want to deal with me. Said they couldn't give me what I wanted because it had belt wear on the back. I said do you even know what this is? He actually admitted he didn't. So why all the rude remarks. He said something about the case and about the appearance of the guitar. It got to the point where I said would it just be easier to borrow against a guitar that is in my history? Meaning the PRS . He said yes because he didn't want to go through the trouble of researching the value of the Gibson. I was not happy with the shorty service all because of one guy . If he was more pleasant this review would be alot different . And just because he was so rude is why this is a negative review.

I sold some silver today. They're very honest and gave a great price. They know what they are talking about and dealing with when it comes to selling precious metals. DO NOT go anywhere else if your selling precious metals,you will be ripped off.

MY BROTHER AND I, HAVE BEEN GOING HERE, FOR A FEW MONTHS NOW.... AND, I HAVE TO SAY, THAT AS TOUGH AS IT IS, TO HAVE TO BRING IN AN ITEM THAT YOU LOVE, TO GET A LOAN ON IT, DURING TOUGH TIMES, THE STAFF REALLY HELPS MAKE YOU FEEL, SPECIAL, AND ARE VERY PLEASANT AND RESPECTFUL.... THEY ALWAYS TALK TO ME, AND TREAT ME AS A PERSON... WHICH IS NOT EASY, IN THEY'RE FIELD.... THEY DEF MAKE THE SADNESS, OF THE MOMENT, EASIER, AND EVEN LET US KNOW, AT LEAST OUR PROPERTY IS SAFE, AND READY FOR US, WHEN WE GET UP, AND ABLE TO GET IT BACK.... THEY HAVE CHANGED MY PERSPECTIVE, ON PAWN SHOPS, OF COURSE, IT IS A BUSINESS, AND IS NOT IN A POSITION TO JUST GIVE MONEY AWAY.... SO, THEY HAVE TO CHARGE A FINANCE FEE, FOR THE MONEY BORROWED.... BUT, IT IS BETTER THAN SELLING IT, AND LOSING IT FOREVER.... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND, EMPIRE LOAN FOR YOUR JEWELRY NEEDS, TOOL NEEDS, AND EVEN ELECTRONICS.... THEY HAVE BEEN VERY UNDERSTANDING AND COMPASSIONATE WITH ME AND MY BROTHER.... THAN YOU, EMPIRE LOAN.....

I was 1000% satisfied with Empire Loan of New Bedford!! I went with a friend who needed my help and the women behind the counter was absolutely amazing!! She was so helpful and attentive. She listened to what we had to say & met us in the middle regarding price!! She was respectful and welcomed us with a smile!! If someone asks for recommendations I'll recommend this place & if I need a pawn shop I'll be going here!! Great customer service!!
