Been dealing with them for 2 years now, gone through not one but TWO cars that have BOTH died within the first year of paying for them not to mention issues with the cars one month in that “they do not fix”. Place is a hustler. DO NOT BUY THEIR CARS! They buy off the auction block and DO NOT put work into fixing them before selling them! Buyer BEWARE!

Cottage Street Motors is a great place to get a car! Ray is always willing to help someone. I’ve read a lot of the reviews, and I have been buying cars from Ray for years now. I’ve never seen them not want to make things right! I would definitely recommend Cottage Street Motor as a great place to buy a used car/truck

Avoid Cottage Street Motors LIKE THE PLAGUE! My wife & I purchased a truck from him we had done business in the past with him with no issues. Until this purchase! Truck was an 09 Chevy that needed a few things fixed which he agreed to fix well between being tossed around from shop to shop and ultimately ending to pay for it ourselves truck never passed inspection from the day of purchase. He will deny himself of any liability on anything so he don't spend a dime his warranties are fake he covers nothing so buyer beware! My wife and I also helped him out over the winter at his shop he treats his employees like s*** to the point they've all left & talks bad about customers who want their cars fixed!

I see a lot of negativity in these reviews. I think people need to keep a few things in mind. Ray helps people get cars that may not otherwise qualify for financing. He genuinely tries to help people out. Not only can you walk in with a down payment and leave with a car, but he offers 0% financing and very reasonable prices. What more can you ask for? Especially if you have bad credit I bought my first car from him seven or eight years ago and always go to him first when looking because he always tries to take good care of everyone. And I have good credit.Buying and selling used cars will always mean that there is a chance the car might have issues that he didn't foresee either. This is the case will all used car dealers. But for me and everyone I know that has purchased from him, he's always been honest and taken care of the problem quickly the one time there was an unexpected issue shortly after I bought one of his cars.Go in with reasonable expectations and Ray will find a way to help you.

Cottage Street Motors is the place to go when you are purchasing a vehicle. I Love this place for the professional services they offer. I bought a 2014 an Chevy Cargo Van from Cottage Street Motors and glad I did. They offer financing and gave me 0% interest. I put over 40,000 miles on it since owning it. Ray & Sue are the best to assist you when purchasing a vehicle. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Not much of a selection but you can buy and pay on a weekly bi weekly or monthly basis. I don't believe that they even check your credit you just have to show proof of your income. Very good if you need a vehicle and you have lousy credit. He is a fair man and he will work with you as long as you are truthful and let him know you're situation if you don't have your payment on time you just have to remain in touch with him don't disappear on him or he will have to take the car back but believe me he would much rather work with you.
