Expensive.. I ordered a prime rib roast and though it was a nice piece of meat I showed to a cook at one of my favorite places and he laughed and said you paid almost double. fyi USDA choice is what it is.

Market basket gave me a bad customer service experience rude non existent manners etc. what a difference buying here. Rare items? In stock. Homemade sausage and desserts? Fresh in stock. Wines, port, seafood salted cod herbs meat steaks ribs fish stuffies. Went in for a Christmas goose came out arms piled with extra goodies. Went back in and thanked the staff for turning my holiday food shopping experience from bad to good. Now I now where to go. You should too. Wonderful.

This market is a gem! We were visiting NB on our boat; called to see what kind of prices they had on beef tenderloin. Excellent prices for some truly prime beef. PLUS Eric cut the beef & chicken to our order, wrapped everything individually and froze it for us so that we could put it stray into the boat freezer. Have been enjoying ever since! Thanks, Eric!!

Owners where fantastic, I needed a pig for Fourth of July and waited last minute to order, they were understandably considerate and friendly, inside is clean and organized, with an assortment of different Portuguese foods and medley, In 2 days I had my 60lb pig and chorizo, drove from Cape Cod to pick it up, I will be doing business here again as we are meat enthusiasts!!

Beautiful pork chops cut to order at very reasonable price. I also picked up some fresh cut stew meat and a couple ribeyes. They have a hot food counter, I purchased the very tender beef short ribs. It was worth navigating a ton truck through narrow streets. If it wasn't so difficult to get to with a large vehicle, this would be my go to shop.

There's a cellar full of wine and plenty of fresh meats. They have lots of prepared Portuguese dishes. They've been in business 40+ years. The attendant has always been friendly and helpful. Support a local business.

This place was awesome and had just about everything you need!! This was our first time here, after driving past it for many, many years saying we need to go there one day. They have chorizo that is homemade and it looked AMAZING as well as a variety of raw meats to select from and homemade cooked food!! OnTop of it all, it has seafood and a miniature grocery store and a huge wine cellar in the lower level. This place was amazing and we got a huge pork shoulder to make pulled pork with. Highly recommend this place

Very helpful and attentive. Answered all my questions about some hard to find meat products I needed. Cut everything up to order and labeled everything. Prices are reasonable with good selection!
