Whittaker is the best auto mechanic shop in the town. I have been searching for the good mechanic, bit it has been very hard to come buy wher I live, so I travel all the way to Needham to get my cars serviced. The Whittaker meet all the criteria for a good mechanic shop to avoid woos that could come from the crappy ones: 1. honesty 2. good communication 3. high standard of repairs 4. great diagnostic abilities 5. sensibility in handling customers Finding Whittaker is the great gift for me this year!

Rusty and his crew are very honest and do good work. There are times they find additional things when you take your vehicle in but they will not do anything until you give the go ahead. On anything, they will let you know if you need to do it now/it's a safety concern or if it can wait and is something to be aware of going forward. I appreciate that approach and will continue to take all my vehicles to Whitaker.

Rusty Whitiker is the best. A very smart sensible and honest mechanic. Try to find that combination anywhere else. But don't tell anyone. Even his loyal customers for decades, have to wait for an appointment. He has done hundreds of repairs on my 9 trucks, and worked on all of my family's vehicles, plus a dozen friends vehicles. No one has ever had a single complaint. I don't know what we will do if he retires.

I will no longer tell people about this place. I have been trying to get my car worked on for a few weeks, they are always booked. Best mechanic around, will talk to you, give you options and does great work.
