Adorable adorable place. Great cafe inside and awesome plant options. I could spend several paychecks here. Must visit in the summer to get an iced lemonade and walk around.

I stopped in for homegrown corn . It is 1.29 an ear and small ears to choose from. Price high, I only buy and eat or two now. Homegrown beans are good . The fresh hot baguette French bread high price , but fresh and was hot... I went to clean two ears at home, one ear looks like was missing a chromosome or genetic engineering flaw... see pic... the 2 homegrown ears this week were tasty vs. two last week from another farm tasted bland...Everything else too expensive for me as can get sane or better at Whole Foods down street or Trader joes up the street..

Reeves, who helped us with the Christmas tree, did such a great job. He was so helpful and patient and made the process a breeze. Picking a tree was so fun with the selection and the decoration options to purchase were so cute and unique!! Makes us want to do a squirrel, owl, or cardinal theme next year!! Great store, great farm, great workers

I read the one star rating and I thought it was a joke. But I'm 28 and from Connecticut and I was denied buying alcohol because I'm under 30 and out of state. Even with my sister there who is 31 and in-state...they still didn't want to sell it to her. The workers were very nice and seemed fearful for the iron fist that is the law of Volante's farm. But for real, if you're under 30 and out of state make sure you don't come here or bring a passport or passport ID because state issued Driver Licenses are not valid here. What a waste of time.I wish I was joking because I wanted to give them my money and support small businesses. But I guess they didn't want anyone under 30 or out of state supporting them.

I was in recently ro purchase some wine only to be told that i could not because I was with my 21 yr old son. Now I haven't lived in MA for sometime, but if memory serves me, the legal age to purchase alcoholic beverages is 21.Now a private business can do whatever it likes, but at 53 yrs old I found the way that the situation was handled very offensive.Eventually I was allowed to make the purchase, but rest assured I will not be shopping at this establishment ever again when I'm in town.

Volante farms is a great local spot. It's a deli, cafe, and grocery store all in one. The deli is reliable and certain sandwiches are really good. They grow all their produce themselves so it is fresh and super high quality. Their ice cream stand is also very popular in the summer. They use crescent ridge. The prepared foods and bakery options are extensive. Although volante is pretty overpriced it is a fun place to get some high quality homemade food or fresh produce.

Quite the extravaganza in the warmer months: a full supermarket, a fully staffed (and busy) sandwich counter), and a large greenhouse with tons of plants. As for the produce, much of it is local, if not house-grown, and the selection is quite large and extensive. As for the sandwich counter, I got the eponymous Volante ($10) which was just right for the price - not too small and not too big - and enjoyed it on their outdoor terrace. A decent helping of sopressata, capicola, mozzarella, and speck. And as for the greenhouse, there are tons of plants that reflect the season.Definitely an excellent resource for the surrounding towns and even one worth checking out if you happen to be anywhere nearby.

I took my 2 year old niece to Volante Farms on sunday for her first ice cream cone! The ice cream was so creamy. I had the coffee heath bar yogurt and she had vanilla. After we finished, we walked around the market which had such an amazing selection of locally grown produce, local meat, dairy, and many more unique grocery essentials. I bought some kombucha and fruit to bring home, as long as an absolutely delicious olive bread, and some baked goods for my boyfriend. Great visit!

We didn't order one of their nine sandwiches or four salads. We didn't go to their farm stand store for produce, groceries, beer, wine, baked goods, meat, cheese, order catering, go to the deli.We didn't go to the Greenhouse for flowers or vegetable flats. We didn't go to the Garden Center for topsoil, garden tools or mulch. But we did go to their Ice Cream stand to sample a few of their over 30 flavors of Crescent Ridge Ice Cream. They have cones, dishes, Frappes, Banana Splits, and all of those familiar treats.I went for an unfamiliar flavor - Salted Caramel Pretzel, and it was a great choice. There is a lot to do and see and buy at Volante Farms. We saw a ton of families and kids there having a blast.
