Excellent service. Needed warranty work on a new Toro mower. Another local authorized service dealer said currently 3 months for warranty work. Needham Garden Center finished in one day!

Supporting a local garden center is important to me. Especially since Home Depot and Lowes steal most of their business. This place is worth supporting. I go here for ALL my garden needs. I'm here at least 12 times a year.Great prices, better service than the big name stores, they always have what I want. Even if you're into that new legal grow thing. They have stuff for that too?

I bought my snowblower from them years ago, so went back to them for a new riding mower. They're very patient to explain how everything works--even what maintenance to perform. They delivered the mower to my door (all tuned up, gas/oil, and new bagger attached), as well as taking my snowblower for a tune-up. These guys are top-notch and will have my business for years to come.

Over the past 15 years, I have brought my snowblower and lawnmowers in for repairs a few times. Each time, they are incredibly nice and helpful, and of course do a great job fixing the machines. They always are great about having plenty of help available for taking it out of my SUV and putting it back, and they always give me helpful tips in taking care of my snowblower or lawnmower. This is a special place!

I called here asking questions about what kind of fertilizer would be best for my dog and was told that all the fertilizers they sell are listed on their shop website: needhamgardencenter.shop. I went online and was able to see the full list of products and add them to my cart. Great store!

First huge snowfall of the season. I am a snowblower noob and I run the snowblower with the choke open. It backfires and won’t restart. I call up a few places and they are like, we have no idea how to fix it over the phone, bring it in.I even call the manufacturer and they think it needs servicing.I call up Needham garden center and get connected with Gary Sr, he says he doesn’t think I did anything too bad and gave me some ideas on how to get it started. If it didn’t work, they’d take a look.Needless to say with Gary’s suggestion I had it running in less than 1 minute, saving me 100s of dollars and a few hours of shoveling the snow we got today! You can bet I will be bring my snowblower for servicing here at the end of the season!Thank you Gary!

They sold me a MacKissic Leaf Shredder for a grand and failed to honor the warrantySo I have a pretty big piece of property with lots of leaves and small branches to shred. They told me this would handle the branches and leaves around my house with no problem. Wow were they wrong. After about 5 hours of use, the rubber baffle on the chipper was destroyed and now no matter what I put in it (leaves or sticks) is all blows out the chipper opening and into your face. After about 10 hours, one of the vines I put in the chipper wrapped around the shaft and caused the engine seal to fail. When that happened all the oil leaked out and the engine blew. I then had a $1000 hunk of steel. So I took it back to the store and all they could tell me is that it was my fault as I had let it run out of oil. It was obvious why it failed, but the two bit store I bought it from had nobody that could really troubleshoot what went wrong as they never took it apart enough to determine the real cause. (Pictures available to prove that was the cause.) I discovered this only as I was putting on a new engine myself.

Paid a little extra cause I heard they service their tractors etc. First year in I brought it for yearly tune up. Got a $450 bill. Ripped off!
