I attended Carter years ago and felt incredibly fortunate to be able to send both of my children there, as well. The teachers are incredible and have been with the program for decades. They have a wonderfully large, spacious classrooms plus additional indoor play areas. The Carter family community is tight knit, as well, helping to promote authentic, long-lasting friendships.

We have sent both our kids through Carter - our son is wrapping up his final year. They have amazing programs, awesome curriculum, learn through play type style. Lots of outdoor adventures, and teachers who have been with the program for a long time, and are very invested in the kids and the school's success. Their director is also amazing! The programs start at 2 days for 2.9, 3 days for 3's, and a 4 day program with early drop off and extended days for the 4 year olds, a perfect prep for K. It's truly the best place we could have chose to prepare our kids for school. We love Carter!

Both of my kids go to Carter and I can't say good enough things about this school! The teachers' nurturing and loving energy and years of experience helped my timid kids feel comfortable from Day 1. Their play-based curriculum is stimulating, engaging, and appeals to a variety of interests. Carter is a special place for these early years and we feel lucky to be part of such a wonderful community!

I have been a teacher at Carter for the past 12 years but before that, all three of my adult children attended the school. Dedicated, loving teachers and a warm, caring environment provided the foundation for my children to be successful in kindergarten and beyond.

When we first moved to town 9 years ago, we didn't know a lot about the preschools in town. We were so lucky to find Carter! It is a loving, nurturing environment that encourages learning through a play-based preschool setting. All three of my kids thrived there in their 3-year old and 4-year old programs. Can't say enough about how great the experience was and how ready they were for elementary school when they graduated!

Experienced, caring staff who knows exactly what a 3-4 year old needs to grow and learn (and have tons of silly fun!). Wonderful nursery school experience!
