A wonderful experience working with Peter at The Carpet Workroom In Needham.
Selecting new carpet is a difficult task. Peter makes it so simple. After narrowing down the decision to a few options, Peter used his expertise to explain the pros and cons of each option. This helped me decide which carpet would make the best sense for the location. Thank you Peter, I love my decision.
Peter's communication skills are outstanding. He responds promptly to emails, answering any questions and making sure I am completely satisfied. Great customer service.
When it comes to installation, Mike was quick, efficient and did an amazing job.

During my search for the perfect runner for the staircase in my home, I came across an ad on Instagram for The Carpet Workroom. I ended up finding a runner I loved and was quickly contacted by Matt Lovetere who walked me through the whole process and answered all my questions. Matt and his team were professional, patient and knowledgeable. All my emails were answered promptly by Matt. There are so many huge companies out there selling rugs; however, it’s a good feeling spending your money on perhaps a smaller business that that focuses on customer service and quality of care. I’m very happy with the runner. It’s some of the best quality I’ve ever touched. It looks beautiful!Chris

I hired The Carpet Workroom to do a somewhat complicated stair, and I had a wonderful experience from beginning to end! I worked with Maggie through the product selection to custom details, she explained everything in detail and William even came out a second time to confirm measurements. The final product was perfect! I even went back to them a few months later to get a small tear in a rug I had purchased elsewhere repaired and William looked it over and offered to repair it on the spot to save me a trip back. As they are a family-owned business, they are friendly, professional, and always make you feel like you are a top priority. I would highly recommend The Carpet Workroom for any custom carpet and rug needs!

I initially fell in love with an image I saw on Pinterest and immediately found Carpet Workroom. Although they were in Boston and I in Chicago, I had a lot of research to do as I’m not educated in Carpet or installation. It started with an email and let’s just say getting Maggie on the phone was impossible—even after leaving a voicemail and asking her to call me back. When I didn’t hear back from her I followed via email and she responded that she “prefers a paper trail anyways”. I then decided that I needed to pursue other quotes. I was literally ready to buy the carpet but when a company is not willing to speak with me as close to in person as possible—I have a problem with that. Note, Maggie was responsive via email but communicating strictly by email takes a lot longer than speaking one on one so my project just dragged on. I know nothing about quality of their product just that I’m not fond of how they serve their customers. These days having personal contact and relationships with your customers is so important. I did after my concern but her response was “ I’m sorry you feel that way”. This did nothing to make me feel that she took ownership of the lost sale due to her practices. Thus, I cannot recommend this company on the basis of customer service. Maggie has much to learn in doing business across states.

A truly professional and competent organization! From the initial browsing of carpets to the installation, our dealings with them were the best! Peter was very helpful in our deciding our choices and communicated with us in a clear and timely manner throughout. The carpet installer worked hard all day long...and he was extremely careful in moving the furniture. We had had runners installed in our former home which is why we returned to them. Peter and the team were fantastic. I was working on a very specific timeline and needed the carpet installed right after a holiday weekend. Peter provided great design advice, and in addition kept close track of my order with frequent, excellent communication, tracking availability and ship dates, etc. The day of the install the installers did a great job. The carpet looks beautiful, and they were friendly and easy to work with. Peter stopped by to check in the day of the install to make sure everything was going smoothly, even though the office was officially closed that day.

Undeniably the easiest and most pleasant experience choosing a stair runner for 2 staircases! I found them on Pinterest and made an appointment with Peter . One staircase was complicated and was told by another company what I wanted could not be done. Peter assured me this was not a complicated job and was wonderfully patient and professional. His advice was spot on and installation meticulous . Couldn’t be happier . Wonderful company, beautiful selection and perfect installation. Thank you!!!
