I should have heeded the reviews on Calico. I was pressured into placing an order on a Saturday afternoon. I immediately left an email to cancel so I could change to another fabric selection as the store is not open on Sunday or Monday. Not surprisingly, I got no response to the email and when I called they told me that the fabric has already been cut and shipped out to the factory for fabrication. For such a quick response time, I wonder why it will take so long to make them(2.5 months). Never again. Do not go to this store. Lesson learned.

Ordered 2 cushions on April 15, 2022, cost 2700. Was told it would be 4 weeks. Cushions came in and my card was charged the balance. Went to pick them up and they were not right. They had the company come back out to remeasure and assured me I would have them before my party July 9th. Not only did I not have them but no one has returned my calls/emails. I have no idea what is going on except that I am currently out $2,700.00 and no cushions. Very dissatisfied with Calico Corners and will never use them again.

I purchased several thousand dollars worth of drapes from Calico for my house a few years ago. I was repainting one room and I called and specifically asked about dry cleaning the drapes and what the recommendations were. I was told that they were fine to dry clean. No specific recommendations were offered. I took them to my dry cleaners and unfortunately the material shrunk. The room darkening liner was longer than the fabric in front. I called and spoke with Lisa, who was less than helpful. Her suggestion was to "call the dry cleaner". I asked her for help rectifying the situation (ie - redoing the hems on the drapes to even them up). I sent her photos etc. She kept telling me to call the dry cleaner. I wasn't asking for new drapes. I was willing to pay to have them fixed. She told me that both drapes would need to be entirely redone to the tune of $1300.00. What a rip off. She just wasn't interested in helping. Won't ever be going back there.

I got a quote over the phone for shades and then went to the store to pick out the color and sign up for measurement. The $300+ fee for measurement was not refundable (would be deducted from the order) but I was not told that there was another $365 fee for installation. The price was misrepresented and I would have had to pay the measurement fee whether I ordered or not. If you are going to charge for measurement, you should be giving the customer the full picture of what the cost will be BEFORE you charge a ridiculously high fee (they spent 5 minutes measuring). Also, both the store and the people who measured got the order wrong - I had to correct several times.

I was so happy to see Calico weathered the shutdown as I returned recently after a long time away. I live on Buzzards Bay so it is a long drive. But it was great to get some new fabric to begin replacing some old items throughout our home. There’s nothing like new pillows to cheer up a room or a reupholstered ottoman to bring new life into our living space. Choosing fabric for an existing room can be a fun but sometimes an overwhelming task. Calico arranges the fabrics together in color and design schemes to make that task easier. Everyone wants to get good quality at a competitive price. Cynthia made that purchase so effortless since her friendly nature helped to answer questions but she didn’t hover over me as I was deciding. She printed out an estimate for the purchase and future purchases to make it easier to plan ahead. My family and I can’t wait for the transformation that these new updated fabrics will provide once our project takes form. Thank you, Calico, for being there throughout the years!

I do not recommend this place. Their estimate for draperies kept changing--even after I paid $170 for their installer to come to my home to take exact measurements. In the end, I was not willing to commit to a $7,000 project with a business I could not trust.

The worst! They apologized for not putting my order through and offered a $100 discount for their mistake. What?!!! No explanation why my order wasn't placed! I waited 4 months for custom roman shades! (Hard to believe it but 100% true) This happened 4 months after the fact! FOUR MONTHS After I thought the order for flat roman shades had been placed. I ONLY uncovered their error because I called multiple tImes to inquire about order. I had to stay on top of it. They are not organized. Every time I called I was given the runaround, "the labor coordinator will call you later - she has all the information" No one followed through and no one called. stay away from the Calico in Natick.

Don't understand negative reviews. We almost didn't go because of them. My wife and I went on a Saturday and were greeted well and provided great assistance. I was in sweats so we weren't presenting any aura of wealth or anything. Will definitely go back

Very unhelpful. Seems like they don't really want your business.

I have worked on many projects for 2 different houses at Calico Corners Natick over the years. I'm not a decorator and do my own selection of the fabrics. The selection, while somewhat limited as compared to the Decorator Building in Boston, is pretty darn good. On occasion I have walked away not having found what I was looking for but the fabrics turn over relatively fast so there is often a new choices frequently. The service has been great and I have never had cause to regret my decision to use their expertise.

I am sorry to read the negative reviews of the Calico Corners in Natick! I have worked with the people in this location for many years, doing and then redoing my house as a do-it-yourselfer. I have gotten nothing less then respectful and professional service on EVERY visit. I have worked mainly with Joyce R but have had occasion to interact with other designers and have the same opinion for all I've worked with. I just don't get the "snobbery" comments. I do agree with another reviewer about the slow pace of the workrooms, though. But! the work is always spot on and the drapery install beautiful.

In the many times I have visited the Natick site and have placed orders for valences and blinds, I have never experienced anything but gracious and helpful behavior from the employees. My only complaint is the slowness of the process.

Would love to rate them lower than one. Calico Corners in another state was my go-to-place. But this store in Natick is just plain awful. I agree with another reviewer about the snobbery experienced there. Would not recommend anyone to go there, especially if you are a do-it-yoursefl person. They definitely say they like to deal with interior designers.
