Bernie & Phyl's is THE BEST furniture store in the area by a mile. The consultants are knowledgeable, patient, and helpful without being pushy whatsoever. The quality of their furniture exceeds any that I've seen in other places (and I have been to them all ?)! Their prices are also very reasonable, especially for the sturdy, long lasting durability of their products. B & P will be the only furniture store I go to from now on! If you go, make sure to ask for Michelle...she is such a delight to work with and made my purchase experience so smooth. Thank you!!!

Our experience started off well. Anthony was great to work with and was very patient with us. He even stayed a little after closing to finish our sale (what good sales associate wouldn't). We ordered a mix of stock and custom furniture. The stock furniture was delivered within a week and the delivery crew were timely, professional and efficient. The custom furniture arrived about a month later. I wasn't home when they arrived, but my partner (a woman) was. They told her that our new dresser wouldn't fit up the stairs and they were going to take it away and we would lose our deposit. She called me on the phone and I had her ask them if they could get it in the house thru a 2nd floor window. They said they could for $200. I rushed home from work and arrived as they were getting ready to hoist it up. I ended up helping them lift it up. Once they were finished they asked for the $200 in cash or Cash App. We didn't think we had the cash on us and we don't use Cash App. We offered PayPal, Venmo or check. They insisted on cash and accused us of "trying to do them dirty" (their words, not ours). We finally scrounged up the cash and were able to pay them. After they left, I took some measurements and firmly believe they could have fit the dresser up the stairs and were taking advantage of my partner being a woman home alone. We feel we were ripped off and this last delivery experience left a bad taste in our mouths.UPDATE: Changed to 4 stars upon receiving an apology and partial refund of the $200.

My partner and I had an amazing experience looking for a couch at Bernie and Phyl’s today! The prices were fair for the quality of couches and we bought one that we are very happy with. The customer service was amazing - Anthony helped us out and he was so kind and patient as we spent two hours deciding on the sectional/fabric we wanted.

We bought a couch and coffee table from here a little over a year ago. The coffee table works great but the inside of the couch is made of super cheap plywood and tiny nails and there are several beams no longer attached. I would not recommend getting a couch here. I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the coffee table does work.

We’ve always had a great experience at the Natick Bernie & Phyl’s. We’ve made several purchases there and have never had issues with items being in stock or problems with deliveries. Great employees who are attentive and make the buying process easy & quick. We worked with Sam this last time and he was great. He helped with finding us the right option without feeling like we were being pressured and got us in & out in 30 minutes with a delivery date two days later. Highly recommend this location and Sam in particular!
