We've been visiting Create for many years now, and it has become our go-to store for art supplies as well as gifts for birthdays and Christmas. It's wonderful to see our daughter progress in her art, and at Create, we are able to find everything she needs for her art classes and beyond. Nantucket is very lucky to have such an amazing store.

I called about beading wire today around 10:30am. I am not sure who was working there. Or who I spoke to but it was a lady and she did not know what she was talking about. So first I asked her what size beading wire she had there and she tell me 5mm. I paused and asked her are you sure it doesn’t say 0.5mm and she seemed a little confused. So I kindly explained in simple terms how big 5mms actually is and asked her again are you sure it doesn’t say 0.5mm she then said that it was in fact 0.5mm so I said “Great!” I was so happy to hear they had the size I was looking for. So my following question was “Do you have it in a silver tone?” She replied “No” I only have it in clear. ??♀️ So remaining patient with her at this point. I asked her do you have wire. It was clear at this point she was talking about elastic string. I am an avid crafter. I run my own business and I unfortunately ran out of silver tone wire and was hoping to get some sooner then my restock order would arrive. And I thought this store would be a quick solution. I am sure this is a nice store and all but they really should have some one handling the phone who actually know the basics.

Very nice shop for art supplies on island. Had a knowledgeable staff member help me but no pressure to buy, even tho I did. I'd definitely return. She even told me about the other retail places on her street including the Art Assn and Pip & Anchor.

Vast selection of artist and craftsmen supplies packed into a cute little Nantucket shop. We found everything we needed to restock our watercolor kit. Wonderful resource to have on island.

Create is an awesome store that sells more than just typical arts & crafts supplies. They have something for everyone, no matter what your interest or talent level. If you're looking for a place to help spark your child's imagination, try Create.I dabble in oil painting & they have plenty of whatever I need; paints brushes, canvases, paper supplies, clay, calligraphy sets, stencils, pens, pencils etc.. If you want to create something, Create is the place to start.Sometimes I just browse the aisles checking out what interesting new items the manager has gotten in. I've bought a few super cool gifts here as well. If you're looking for something unique you just might find it at Create.

This would be a great art supply store anywhere, but a real jewel to find on Nantucket.Wonderful selection and Suzanne (sp?) knows EVERYTHING!
