“I’m usually not one to write reviews, but quality and honest work is something that is very hard to come by and deserves every ounce of recognition possible. My car has seen more than its fair share of cold and salty winters, so it was due for some brake work. I went elsewhere for quotes, namely some corporate auto shops…absurd up-selling, exaggeration of issues, and above all else astronomical quoting. As someone who is pretty knowledgable about cars, I could smell these corporate chains just going after the money…I brought my car to Ed’s as a work-in and within a couple of hours, I had all new rotors, pads, and even cleaned and regressed calipers that were frozen or sticking! The best of all was the price…nearly 1/3 that of what other places were trying to sell me. Needless to say, Ed’s will have both my girlfriend and I’s business for as long as we’re in the area. It’s not often you find an honest and reliable mechanic that you can wholeheartedly trust to only do what is necessary and not try to rob you of your money, but also to do so while being the friendliest of people. “I like this place and the staff. They’ve always been honest and fair priced. I’ve done MA inspections, routine oil changes, and more major work like brake maintenance here. Notably, they have repaired pesky flat tires fast and for ultra cheap on a few occasion. I enjoy talking to the owner while my car is repaired. Note that this is not a snazzy place. It’s basic and they get the job done.”
“I had something going on with my car that other mechanics could not identify. I brought the car here in September and they were great. Not only were they able to fix the problem, they did it faster than the estimated time. They called when there was something that wasn't identified when I dropped the car off to be sure it was OK with me that they do the work. Everyone in the shop was friendly and knowledgeable. Fast forward to November 11th and one of my high beam lights was not working. My husband bought a bulb and tried to change it. Anyone who has a Subaru knows that it's not straight forward to change a bulb. So, I brought it to Route 114 Sunoco without an appointment on a Saturday and asked if they could get it fixed that day. I said I could leave the car. Kamil was wonderful! He came to my car and checked it out. He said he would do it while I waited. It was done so quickly and Kamil didn't charge me. That was more than a pleasant surprise.From this point, on Route 114 Sunoco is where I will bring my car for service! “Pretty good place to take car in for repairs and maintenance. I miss Jerry. Fred is pretty nice. Tony is really knowledgeable and funny. And last but not least- Gil is the most funny and great guy! I sometimes just stop by to say hi to Gil. Gas is more expensive there, though. That's a bummer but their pumps always stay busy! Oh and the air for the tires is great! Automatically stops when tire is full!”
“Cheap gas, but because of that there is always a line. I wish the hoses were longer so we can use both sides of the pump islands no matter which side your gas tank inlet is on.”

“This is the best gas station and I'm so lucky to have it in my neighbor hood. They have a very cheap car wash with free vacuums, an excellent beer and wine selection and they see to always make improvements and upgrades. One little thing about this place that sets them above all other gas stations I've been to is the fact that they ALWAYS keep the hand sanitizer filled up at each pump!!! This goes a long way with me and I smile every time I pump the pump and some juice comes out. Cheers to you guys.”

“I stopped here to use the bathroom and when I came out I saw a doppelganger of my half brother and sisters father. He looks so much like him that I started to call out his name and realized that he wasn't turning around. I thought maybe he was going deaf. It turns out it wasn't him. I left before the police showed up. Nobody called the police. I actually made up half the story. Really clean bathroom would poop there again!”

“I never give reviews but this one seems necessary. I stopped by this business to see if I could get some assistance with a spare tire. This guy was walking out of the office, I flagged him down to ask if he could help reattach my spare tire since the riser cable was stuck. Without hesitation this kid crawled under my truck on asphalt hotter than the devil himself and had me back on the road in minutes, wouldnt let me pay, said it was courtesy. They have a dealership on site with used cars, my daughter is in the market. They will most definitely get my business. Thanks for the great customer service ! Jacob S.”

“I have stopped by this gas station several times on my way to various destinations on the North Shore and to New Hampshire as well. It is a great full service station with more than enough pumps so it is usually a very quick in and out when I am there. I noticed some used cars for sale there so I can see that they also do auto sales there. The place is always well lit at night and the gas attendants there are always friendly and efficient. Their prices on gas are some of the lowest around. They are open until late at night which makes it convenient. Out of all of the gas stations on the North side of Route 1 this is definitely my gas station of choice.”

“R&A Automotive is the most honest, auto repair service ever. Anthony is amazing. I brought my vehicle to 2 other auto repair stations they both told me that my 2003 Jeep Liberty 80k miles and I am the only owner Wasn't worth being fixed and it would cost $2,000 plus to fix just drive it until it doesn't run anymore. The other one said it's not worth getting fixed, you can't sell, just give it to me and I will junk it for you. I brought it to Anthony and it wasn't even what the other 2 auto repair places to told me was wrong. Not only that, Anthony put it up on a lift and told me it wasn't safe to drive. The ball joints were rusted and the brake house pump needed to be fixed along with a couple other minor issues. He fixed everything that was wrong and it is now safe and reliable. Thank you so much.”
