“I'm not really a drinker
I go there because it's the only place in Greenfield where you can buy a REAL cigar! I will say that a business doesn't stay in business for a hundred years unless they are doing it right”
“I've been stopping here for years. Easy to get in and out on the Trail. Good selection of beer, wine and spirits. If they don't have it, they will order it for you. Great service. Just heard under new management.”
“MGM of Whately has excellent breakfast sandwiches (highly recommend the Diesel delight), great selection of Boarhead's meats, and there is a great selection of local products and alcoholic beverages as well. Staff members are friendly too. I plan to come back again, and I think I'll have to bring my grandma next time. She loves general markets/local family owned businesses!”
“My favorite liquor store. The selection is pretty meh, but they have a lot of affordable wine, vodka and mixers, so it's the first place I go when I get dumped.”
“I've been going to Billy's for several years, now. It's a small shop, but the selection is choice and affordable, and the proprietor is extremely knowledgeable about wine and local beer.”
“Was looking for a particular wine however they did not have it. I do thank them for calling another of there location s and they had 1 bottom. It was put on hold for me. (That was nice of them).”

“Great Experience Every time! I’ve been stopping here for years. Right on the other side of the bridge that crosses to Turners Falls. Armani was staffed keeping the place open later while other shops were closed. He was very patient while I made a last minute selection. Shop is always clean and has a great selection of craft beers and prices reasonable compared to the area.”
“Pretty solid small liquor store with all the essentials. Don't recommend buying plastic cups here tho as they overcharge even compared to other liquor stores. Other than that definitely recommend!”
“Smelled good when we walked in. Had no problems from start to finish, found many different ciders, and the cashier last weekend was really nice. (I don't know his name but please get that guy a Blake's cherry limeade to test!)”
“Brilliantly situated in North Amherst, this neighborhood market is a community institution, offering a cornucopia of fresh produce, deli meats and cheeses, and a variety of foods for the whole family. The shelves are overflowing with deliciousness. A tourist attraction for anyone traveling along the 91 corridor.”
“Formerly Ruggeri's, now Green River Liquors, carrying on the great tradition get all your drinks, smokes, snacks and lottery plus so much more! Great friendly service! Redemption is huge here!”
“Owner and staff always friendly and helpful. Perfect example why people should shop and spend money on small local merchants and not the big corporate box stores. Fair and reasonable prices as well. Two thumbs up ?”
