First time at Sunsetview Farm, Had a great time! My friend and I stayed on site 61. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The staff were very kind and helpful. We went on the last weekend of the season so not much going on but looking at the website shows that there are themed weekend and bands regularly on the pavilion! I booked for next season already and can not wait to experience this campground during peak season.

Was NOT impressed with their "Bait and Switch" tactics. Booked Site 15 for the months of June and July due to working the Brimfield Flea Market. Arrived at this Campground only to be told we were NOT on this site, that there was a "computer error", and we were on Site "PS" (Pool Site) for those months! Tried to explain AND show them the 4 email's we had from Carol as well as numerous phone calls confirming Site 15. Well, they (2 different women) didn't want to hear about it. They kept insisting we did NOT have Site 15. They were unfriendly and just plain RUDE to myself and my husband. For that month, we had to put up with being on a site AT THE ENTRANCE GATE that had traffic in and out, racing Golf Carts, kids constantly running thru our site to go to the Nature Pond to the point we didn't want to even have a campfire for fear 1 would trip and fall into it, a Staff that was unfriendly and rude, a maintenance guy who cut the lawn every week whenever my husband would try to sit outside and had cut grass and dust sent his way, and to top it off, we were nowhere near the friends that we had coming in for 10 days from Kentucky that had booked to be near us on Site 15!! ? We watched Site 15 for the entire month of June and someone was only on it for 1 weekend the entire time!! So much for it being already booked!!!Before we ended our stay for June, my husband tried 1 more time to show the emails with the Confirmation and they walked away from him! I decided to email them as well as phone our Cancellations for our July and September stays. We will never stay there or recommend them ever. If you're not a Seasonal, don't expect to be treated well.....

Off the beaten path for sure – about 13 miles from I-90. There is a bridge under construction at the moment so you may have to take a longer route to get here depending on which direction you are coming from. They have specific instructions on their website. Coming from the east, the roads through Sturbridge are very rutted. Brimfield is slightly better. There are overhanging branches on Town Farm road, and we snagged a couple. The check-in was quick and easy; however, they do not supply a map or give you any information about the campground. The interior roads are mostly dirt with some gravel. They are narrow and challenging for big rigs. The RV sites are situated in all directions so it looks a bit disheveled. The transient sites have dirt/grass/mud and some have a smattering of gravel. The seasonal/permanent sites (which occupy most of the spaces) have more gravel. To get into our site, we had to drive up an incline to a flatter area which barely had enough room to get all our tires on it. We were towing a vehicle which remained on the incline. Our rig was leaning towards the driver’s side but the levelers were able to do their job. There was a large square dirt area outside our door where apparently someone had placed a rug for a long time. Our bedroom window looked right out onto the porch of the park model that was backed up to ours. Getting out of our site was interesting as we had to make a tight turn. Luckily, no one was in the sites(plural!) across from us because we imposed heavily on them. Satellite would work in some sites. I don’t know if they have cable or not. Verizon was 5g 2 bars or 4g 3 bars; however, our hot spots acted wonky. Trains can be heard off in the distance but they aren’t intrusive. It is very quiet at night so there’s that. FYI - They charge $6 extra a night for 50 amp and $3.50 transaction fee. Pretty high priced for what you get. Just did not tickle our fancy so we won’t be back.

Very friendly and clean facility. Lots of activities. Bands on weekends. Most sites are large. Full hook-ups. Very kid friendly. Including a pool / large playground.

Very nice campground with pool and playground. Hosts are very friendly. Always booked full, so make reservations well in advance. Over 300 sites. If it feels cramped to you, then an RV park is probably not your thing. Go camp in a field. Very kid friendly and safe. An Oasis in Massachusetts to be honest. A perfect layover when traveling from northern Maine to Western New York. UPDATE 2022 - still a great campground with excellent hosts

I'm only giving it 2 stars because we found a nature path by the pond (drained at the time of our visit)There were 2 older middle- older age women in the office who were less than friendly. One was very unwelcoming upon our arrival as well as short and rude over the phone.Made what I felt to be a very rude comment in regards to my 2.5 year old son.If I wasn't in a pinch I wouldn't have stayed. The fung shui of the place is off.I suppose if you're into getting drunk it's not a bad place cause you won't feel everything I felt. HahaI was going for respite. Not the place for that.

Not a clean or a comfortable place! We camped with my sister and her family, with our campers awning to awning. The one nice thing was the sites were a nice size, however that’s really the only positive. The pool is small and I wouldn’t go in the murky, green swimming pond if you paid me. The owner, Chuck, came to our sites one evening around 6:00 or 7:00-something to tell us someone complained about my sister’s dog not being on a leash (he was on an electric fence), and barking excessively. He said, “People live here and have to go to sleep and work in the morning.” It was the late dinner hour. Who was sleeping at that point? Chuck wouldn’t even listen to us when we tried to explain the electric fence or show him how it worked. He said the dog could lunge after someone. Well, they can do that on a rope too. He wouldn’t listen when we tried to explain that also, and the fact that my sister’s dog would bark more if put on a rope and that both of our dogs would get tangled, making them both bark more. Additionally, when I initially told Chuck that we also had a dog and that whoever complained wasn’t just hearing one dog, but two, he said, “So you’re telling me YOUR dog is the one barking excessively?” I said, “No, between the two dogs there is a normal amount of barking.” As this part of the conversation was taking place, Chuck had been walking closer to my sister’s site from the road, which made her dog bark. Chuck said, “See it’s barking now.” We pointed out that he was just doing what any dog would do, trying to protect its home. I told Chuck that I had heard other dogs barking somewhat excessively in another part of the campground and that the next time I heard it I was going to complain. He told me to do that and left. That barking didn’t really bother me, but if Chuck was going to be unreasonable, so was I. The next night at midnight I heard something which actually concerned me. It was the sound of fireworks or a gun being discharged. I didn’t call the emergency number at that point because I fell back to sleep and forgot about it until now. There were other things that made the campground unclean and uncomfortable. One was the excessive flies, which got inside the campers and were unbearable. Maybe if they mowed before people inhabited a site, instead of mowing WHILE people were there, it would have helped with the insect situation. The other unpleasant experience was finding dog p*** smeared on the underside of my rug when we packed up the day we left. This edge of the rug was right up near our camper, out of the range of our dogs’ leads/electric fence, so it was from another patron, and thus there when we set up camp. I’m thankful none of us stepped in it and dragged it into the camper. We will never go here again, nor do we recommend it.
