This started in 2021 and I wrote this email in June of 2022Hello,I have tried to attach 5 emails, with pictures, sent to A Thomas Garden Center since last September regarding the 2 Dogwood Trees I purchased for $450.00 each in the summer of 2021. The file was too big so I will send them separately. I purchased these trees for a privacy screen as my neighbors house is very close. They were full when I bought them and I thought they would work out beautifully. After a couple of months I saw they were not doing great so I contacted A. Thomas Garden Center for advice. I have attached the e-mails I have sent them. I was also in touch with Christian from A. Thomas, via phone, who was very nice and polite but obvious didn't have the authority to send someone to Quincy, from Milton location, to look at my trees and help me save them.I should have just called Bunny Thomas but today I called and asked for Christian's manager, Jim, as that who Christian referred to when he was trying to get me answers and someone to come look at my $900.00 trees. I had left a message and Jim returned my call. I introduced myself and asked him if he recalls my situation. I explained how my trees weren't doing well and he said he did recall but then back tracked saying this is the first he heard of this situation. I told him that I have been in touch since last year regarding my trees and sent pictures showing their decline. During those calls they suggested I use "Thrive" which I did, they suggested to fertilize, which I did, they said maybe it's too windy so wait until the spring to see if they get healthy. In other words they kept suggesting why they looked bad but never came out to look at them. I also explained that I did not know of their policy of only guaranteeing the trees for three months after A. Thomas installed them. I found out about this when I started contacting them about my failing trees.Jim, the manager, stated that they don't mention that policy because they would be taking business away from the Landscapers they sell to. The problem is they did not sell to the landscaper, they sold to me, when I personally went into the store and paid $450.00 per tree. I had a landscaper pick them up and install because as I said I was not informed of the fact that they install trees. Now they are using this installation policy against me saying they could have installed them........but I didn't know they did that.As time went on in this conversation with Jim, the tone from Jim got louder, he was rude and condescending towards me. Then he said, to my surprise, and I quote "I don't know why you are getting so pissy". I explained I have been in touch with A. Thomas for almost a year with no results. He then explained if how many times someone called he would have to go running out and he doesn't have the staff to do this. (So no Jim, how many times does this happen that someone calls trying to find a solution to their sick trees?)The way I left the conversation was by saying "So you aren't going to help me find a resolution?" He said "Have your landscaper call me and we might be able to do something." What I don't understand is that I AM THE ONE THAT DISHED OUT $900.00 FOR THESE TREES! It is my property so why couldn't he talk to me about the resolution? Jim was very rude and condescending to me, THE CONSUMER. I wasn't asking for a refund but maybe a replacement. At the very least some advice on how to save my trees.I am hoping we can come to a resolution soon. I don't want to have to take drastic measures to get my trees either healthy or replaced or refunded. I bought the trees I expect to be the one that is spoken to with a resolution!

Terrible quality. Third time buying from them. First two times we bought they died. Because of COVID 19 we tried again. Their plants are twice as much as those at Home Depot and much smaller. But again, we thought we were buying from professionals! The plants once again died or are anemic looking. We purchased replacements from Home Depot, healthier and 1/2 the $$, and they look amazing. Much larger, healthier than the Thomas plants were just to start. I emailed them...no response. So they really don't care. Safe yourself money and effort...Go to Home Depot instead!

Went to Thomas & Sons with not a clue about what we wanted to plant. Frank was so helpful and patient and helped us create a beautiful landscape. They have a great selection and are very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
