Very accommodating especially for my specific needs to heal from a terrible accident. Always a friendly face and a hug (pre-Covid). I always recommend people who want to try it to go here because it’s great and has a range of different style classes!

The teachers at this yoga studio, where I took classes weekly for three years, are generally lovely people and the instruction is very good. However, the studio owner's billing policies are rigid and border on unethical. During the current pandemic, I asked the owner to utilize amounts I had prepaid for in-house classes (that are now cancelled) for online classes. She declined to allow this. When I asked for a refund of the prepaid amount, she point blank refused, stating that if I'd read the fine print when I signed up, I'd have known she doesn't give refunds and therefore owes me nothing. So the studio is keeping my money and I am unable to use it. I'm very disappointed and am quitting the studio.

With regret, I must give this place a very mixed review. I attended weekly yoga classes there for three years. I found the teachers generally to be lovely people and the instruction to range from very good to excellent. Unfortunately, the owner's billing practices are rigid and unethical. In the current pandemic, I requested to apply my prepaid credit on in-house classes (currently cancelled for obvious reasons) to online/Zoom classes being offered. The owner, Cathy Mann, declined to allow this, citing something nonsensical about her payment system being "old school" and being unable to transfer payments from one type of class to another. I then requested a refund on the amount remaining in my account since I would be unable to attend classes for the foreseeable future and really can't afford to have my money sit in the studio's account. She flat-out refused, saying essentially that if I had read the fine print when I signed up, I would know she never gives refunds unless someone is sick or has an emergency. (Well, now the whole world is emergently sick...!) She said that in her opinion, she owes me nothing and is keeping my money. This just seems wrong.

Cathy and all the teachers at the Millis Yoga Studio are great. They are not only SO kind and friendly but they are fantastic at teaching both yoga for the body and mind. Highly suggest completing a Yoga Teacher Training here!

The instructor was not very welcoming. She pointed out every mistake I made in front of the whole class. It was my first class there and it made me very uncomfortable to have her announce everything she didn't like about my poses and my even my mat. I bought a groupon for a bunch of classes and never went back after the first one because I was so embarrassed and uncomfortable. I don't recommend this place unless you like uppity judgmental people.

I wrote the following review for Yelp almost 2 years ago and it is still true. The Yoga Studio in Millis is a fantastic place: If you have been thinking about taking a yoga class for a while...stop thinking about it and get to this studio! After 8 weeks of taking classes I wish I had been practicing for my entire life - it feels that good! The staff (and I have taken classes with multiple instructors) are all able to personalize and individualize the sessions so that each participant gets the most out of their practice - whether a beginner or more advanced. The studio offers classes at convenient times and special workshops (like restorative yoga and Yoga Nidra) every few weeks. I didn't know what to expect when I finally got up the motivation/courage to try it out and I am so happy I did. I have noticed such a difference in the way I feel (- my knees, especially, used to ache going down stairs and that has gone away - no pain at all). I know there are lots of options - you can pay as you go, sign up for a weekly class or an unlimited package. Parking in the adjacent lot is very convenient and I have never had an issue getting a space.

Having been to many different studios that focus on the "workout" aspect of yoga I thoroughly enjoyed the more relaxing atmosphere and was really able to get more out of my poses. During my second class here I was able to learn head stand into crow and side crow! Super awesome place with really nice teachers
