I rescued a pit bull puppy who has had quite a bit of trauma. The staff is kind and patient and has made every visit a positive experience for Finn and I. Thank you Main Street Vet staff!

Enjoy going to Main Street Vet. Excellent care and they understand my financial limitations, helping me understand options and essentials. My dog has his nails clipped by technician, good job.

My dad and I have been bringing our kitty, Miro, here since we brought her home 18 years ago. The care has been consistently good, but what inspired me to write this review was the way Dr. Rullan treated us -- all three of us -- through one of the hardest decisions of our lives. When the blood work came back, she made sure we understood what the test results meant and what our options were -- either for euthanasia or further palliative care -- and was prepared to give us as much time as we needed to make that choice. When I brought Miro in for her final visit, Dr. Rullan and the vet techs handled me with kid gloves, which was absolutely what I needed at the time. I was given a comfortable, private room and as much time as I needed to cuddle my girl and say goodbye. When I was finally ready (as ready as I would ever be), Dr. Rullan came in and gently, quietly walked me through each step in the process and let me know what I should be prepared for, and then offered more time if I wanted it. She started only when I was ready, and every single step was prefaced with an explanation and a check-in with me. If I needed some time between steps, she waited until I gave her the go-ahead to continue. When it was over, she once again gave me as much time and space as I needed to say my last goodbyes. I was a sobbing wreck the entire time and not for a single second did I feel self-conscious or judged for it.Going in, I wasn't sure what to expect. But the compassion and gentleness I received from Dr. Rullan and her team during one of the worst moments of my life was just... absolutely above and beyond. There's no such thing as an ideal scenario for losing a family member. But if there were, I think Dr. Rullan provided that for me and Miro.(I also ordered an urn through the clinic by phone after the fact. I have some misgivings because I wasn't charged for it, so I'll update when we receive the ashes -- hopefully in the urn I picked out).

Even though the practice has been transferred I was very pleased with the staff, especially the technician Elise and Dr. Weber. They are both very competent and friendly. The best part is that they REALLY listened to me and answered my questions. My cat is in good hands with them!

Hi! So I have recommended Main Street Vets in Millis for years . . . I have been going there since 2012 with both of my animals. Dr. Metcraft was a great vet. Just a couple things to note. 1) The practice was sold since my last visit in 2020 apparently. The new owners is VetCor which owns 410+ vet hospitals across the country. 2) My Vet bill increased by $170 since the previous period. I would recommend going over everything with them before your appt. so you are not surprised by the bill and the additional tests that are standard practice. ie. the Annual Exam went from $57 in 2018 to $64 in 2020 to $78 in 2021, the heartworm went from $30 to $72. (it does include a Lyme test now) It is my understanding now, if you say need a heartworm test they bundle it with other tests as a cost saving measure from having the test individually. but some of the test may be unnecessary. This would be a personal preference. 3.). I didn't fully realize these changes because I'm still mandated to sit in my car in the parking lot with my animals because their members of their staff are not vaccinated and I'm (as a fully v'xed person) am a risk to their staff. (Ironically, my dog has to be v'xed according to the town (rabies) as a safety measure and that's why I have to go to the vet every year) ugh! 4.) I will say the vet tech that came out to my car was considerate and professional. They were flexible since I was 10 minutes late. The follow up by the doctor was good & I had the animal's test results in a few days emailed to me.

This is not the same place that it was. Two vets have retired or quit.

Do not go to this Vet. Just recently a new Vet took over this location and it’s been the worst experience I have ever had. So unprofessional. I have been going here for years and seeing a wonderful Vet who retired. No one was notified about this change and now this new Vet took over. Not only would my dog not be seen for an important matter as I tried calling a few times for openings and they had nothing which I found outrageous as I have never been turned away from my Vet In the last 6 years here, they didn’t even offer to squeeze him in or offer anything except to go someplace else. Then I called begging for a prescription to be sent to the pharmacy and a day later it’s still not called in after the Vet said she would send it. After all the money I have spent at this location over the years, I’ll be bringing my dog someplace else. I already have. A Veterinarian is supposed to care for your animal and try to figure out a solution. She did neither. Don’t waste your time here.
