Our second Basset Hound from Stowe Farm. Daisy is a beauty ! I Love Stowe Farm. The people are super ! Friendy and helpful. This is a real farm and very rustic. They have apple picking in season as well as raise animals. (dogs & horses)

It is really fun place with lights, train rides and lots more options. But for kids it’s the best experience to have

First off I’m not a new pet owner, we have had two dogs long term over the last 23 years. When our dog recently passed it left a hole in our lives and we started looking to find new puppies which led us locally to Stowe. We started looking at one Cockapoo pup and ended up getting two(male and female litter mates). Far from inexpensive we quickly fell in love with these two. Didn’t think much about the disclaimer on the agreement after seven days stating it was our issue if the pups had issues. I mean who would ever give them back even after a short time?? Maybe that’s a known, and we had the assurances that all shots and deworming were up to date. On day nine our little lady pup woke up extremely sick and we were actually afraid she might not make it through the night. We took her to a late night 24 hour clinic and she was bad enough they kept her over night and gave her IVs and additional treatments . Both pups were diagnosed with the parasite Giardia which supposedly they were inoculated against. It cost us just under $2000 that night between the two of them but I guess if it had been two days earlier we could have brought them back, Come on, Really?!?!So now after feeling better, a month later we had our follow up with our vet and they both have Giardia still and also diagnosed with hookworm which can be caught the same way but was never tested last month. We are loving responsible owners and will do whatever it takes to make sure these little babies are happy and healthy but I would very much warn anyone against taking it too lightly if you decide to decide to have dealings with this farm. We were never allowed to see beyond the front counter so had no idea what kind of living conditions these puppies or the parents existed in. All interactions were very controlled and now we find ourselves wondering what kind of things they were exposed to to come out with so many health issues. I never bothered contacting them because deep down I know it would have done no good based on the initial disclaimer. Also I want to be clear I seek no reimbursement for any of these medical expenses. What I do want is everyone to be aware they should enter these dealings aware and informed. We would not trade these pups for the world but we believed the best and were disappointed with the level of transparency. Based on that we felt others should know this as well.

Exactly what we were looking for! Very simple and old fashioned, but very enjoyable. The staff was on top of everything and very friendly. $3 to get in. $5 for a beer and they had live music. So many animals!

Very family friendly fun for end of summer/fall activities. This is the second year going back with a 1.5 year old this time, and it kept our little one entertained and tired out, she fell asleep in the car! Will definitely keep this on the list for next year!

The staff is friendly and welcoming and there is a palpable love for the animals. The petting zoo area is fun and the creatures run the spectrum from super cuddly to food-driven maniacs to apprehensive prey. Super fun stuff like a corn cannon. The unlimited bouncy house pass for $10 was the best value for our child.Parking is weird, forcing many to walk along a thin road without a shoulder; they should consider a paved or gravel path through the field from the main off-grounds lot to the central entertainment area. The food and drink were very good; decent value but the token system feels predatory and weird. Just get a few more Square POSs and call it a day.If it is a raw blustery day make sure you bring appropriate outerwear; there is no shelter.Really enjoyed ourselves here. Will go again.

Lots of fun stuff to do, but could use a bit more organization and management of the individual activities. Lack of clear communication on the hay ride created a very tense situation with some upset people. There should be at least two tractors running during peak times! It literally took an hour for food to be prepared at the food truck. That's in ADDITION to the 30 minutes in line waiting to order. It's crazy to expect people to wait 1 and a half hours for a mediocre cheeseburger and fries....not to mention the hefty price tag of nearly $15!With some more organization and closer management, this place could be one of the best of its kind in the area!

Very expensive for what it is and a bit run down. I don’t think the jumpy house has been cleaned in years. No apple picking this year do to a late frost, the animal pens could use a good cleaning, the staff could use some training and consistency with pricing. The place has potential but misses the mark by quite a bit. Buy a bag of apples at the store and take the kids to Southwicks Zoo, you’ll have a much better time.

Wonderful place and family! I brought my mom who has dementia and she was having a terrible day. We go out every week and I’ve never had that happen so it caught me by surprise. Well the owners daughter, her husband and another woman quickly came to our rescue. What a great farm with many fun and reasonably priced activities and a very kind family running it.

Sunday was beautiful and a great day for a first visit here. I brought my mom who has dementia and she was just having an off day. She wanted no part in any of it :( I had to quickly get her back to the car but that was going to be a challenge. Well I believe it was the owner's daughter working in the little store who came to our rescue. She quickly had her husband drive us to my car( he was busy working the register). There was another woman helping us as well. They were so kind and patient. What I was able to see was great. They have everything there for a fun filled day and so organized and reasonably priced. I would love to come back with my grandkids. Thank you so much for helping us!
