This review is regarding my excellent experience with United Ag & Turf in Millbury while purchasing a new John Deere X738. My salesperson Liam Russell has been absolutely fantastic, as is everyone else I have worked with at the dealership. I had a ton of questions when making my purchase decision, and Liam was very patient, responsive and incredibly helpful. The support I have received after the sale has been great as well. I will be a longtime, loyal customer. I highly recommend that you visit them for all of your sales, parts and service needs. You will not be disappointed!

I recently took my lawn mower in for service because the blade would not re-engage after the mower warmed up. When the technician took down the service ticket, they incorrectly noted that the blades "randomly stopped," which wasn't what I described. I texted the technician to clarify, and they assured me that they thoroughly checked the mower and identified the issue as a faulty wire harness.
After spending $1,500 on the repairs, the mower still has the same problem. I suspect that the solenoid, which I initially mentioned to the front desk as a likely cause, is the real issue. However, they insisted it was definitely the harness. Given the outcome, I now have serious doubts about the competency of this John Deere service center.
Update to my review: This morning, I received a call from Jen, the general manager, and PJ, the manager. They both expressed sincere regret for my experience and took full responsibility for the unfortunate misunderstanding at the front desk. They acknowledged that if the technician had received my original description of the issue, it would have been resolved. To make up for this, they offered to repair my mower at no additional cost, as they stand behind the quality of their work. They will be picking up my John Deere mower to ensure it is functioning properly. I am pleased with their follow-up and the effort to make things right. Excellent customer service.

My sales person Shaun was wonderful. He was knowledgeable and explained the benefits and details of my new mower. This was my fifth purchase from 146 Supply. Five star sales and service. Fast delivery. Simply the only place to buy lawn care equipment. I love my John Deere x350.

I was recently at the Millbury, MA location getting some parts I had ordered. I had Steven as my parts salesperson. He was great to work with and extremely helpful in answering all my questions about my specific machine. He even went to ask one of the repair techs a question I had about my 3 point hitch. Do not go here!!!!
We bought a Z970R mower in 2022….right away we had issues with the bagger. The belt kept throwing itself. We brought the mower back and stated we know it’s not the actual belt as the issue and something else is wrong. Right away they didn’t want to cover under warranty. They actually let it sit running for 6 hours to try and test, and charged for letting it sit!!! While no one was actually working on it. They said they guarantee their work. Said it was the belt and nothing else, charged $700. We knew they tightened things up and didn’t just replace the belt. Not two weeks later, the belt came off again. We called, they said they would call us back and never did!!! We have tried selling this mower and no one wants it.
We did maintenance the other month. The guy was nice, but kept pushing to send our 2022 mower and 2020 gator in to fix. My gator from day one has squealed loudly when first driving. I was told it’s normal, until he said it’s not. Four years of being lied too!!! He spent a long time on my gator, to find out after he left, he broke the positive connector to the battery and it wouldn’t even start. We fixed it ourselves. We paid $1,000 for them to break our equipment!!!!
Just now the belt came off again on the mower!!!
Do not buy from United!!!

Just left, got in the car, and drove to Lowe’s. Save yourself a trip and just go straight to…basically anywhere else. We encountered the rudest, most unhelpful “salesperson” we have ever had the displeasure to speak with, who was not only discourteous, dismissive, disinterested, and lacking in knowledge about the product, but also raised his voice when we asked how soon we could have the mower delivered. Not only will we not be buying anything from this dump for as long as live, but we’ll also be encouraging everyone we know to avoid it.

I had an excellent experience with the sales and management team. Liam, our sales representative, was exceptionally knowledgeable and provided a thorough hour-long walkthrough of the tractor to ensure my comfort before taking it home. Additionally, the team went above and beyond by arranging for my daughter to receive her own small tractor at the same time, which made her incredibly happy. The United team's dedication to customer satisfaction was evident throughout the entire process. My daughter loves her new tractor, and I am thoroughly enjoying my John Deere as well. Came in the morning and was greeted with nothing by amazing people. Pete my sales rep killed it got my company into a brand new 2024 26p within hours! Jen the manager made the process as smooth as possible, will be back for more equipment for sure!

Jenn and Liam were both very knowledgeable and helpful in picking out a new lawn tractor. Very easy process from start to finish
