“Where this is located is literally in between Village Pizza and the Mart. So you want to park as if you're going to the Mart, then you'll see a door just to the left of the Mart, it's the same building though. That's the post office. It's a cozy place. I went there early on a Friday morning to submit a passport application. It took under 10 minutes, very quick! It was not at all crowded, in fact it was only myself an one other lady there at the time. Also, the cleric was so gentle and nice. So overall, it may be a bit hard to find, but I'd recommend it for any postal services. Great place. God bless!”
“I had such a pleasant experience at this post office. Much like the DMV people that work at a post office are typically eager to get you in and out and easily frustrated. I went in to get my boyfriends passport and that is a tedious task as is but they made it so much easier and took their time with us even though some things we had were wrong they quickly fixed our issues with diligence and eagerness to help. both employees were great and patient I never write reviews but I felt the need to compliment this service. Me and my boyfriend were both amazed by their patience!”
“I've used this location for years & got to know the counter people. No one knows the abuse they take from the public when you're not there. I'm always treated with respect, friendliness & expediency. I can make them smile with a funny phrase or a compliment out of the blue if thats what's needed when I don't see any smiles. Patrons take their bad days out on the people behind the counter. You prob'ly won't see that happen, but it happens alot. Dave keeps his smile in his pocket, but its there if you gave a compliment once in awhile, even if its a struggle to do so. Working the public is a thankless job, add the pandemic, short staffing, standing for 7 hours, combating personal problems, disgruntled patrons & morning smiles wane quickly. If you want a smile & friendly greeting, go meet the ice cream truck when you hear their tune. Try Initiating a smile or a kind word & don't expect anything. But you will have made a difference to someone who may need it...just like you do.”
“I only went into the United States Postal Service in Woonsocket, RI to drop off some business paperwork in the outgoing mailbox, today and yesterday. There's 2 parking options here - on street parking in front of the building on Social Street, or take a left at the traffic light, next immediate left after that leads to the parking lot in the back of the building. No handicapped options in the front of the building, there's a set of stairs to get in and out. Back parking lot I'm not sure about, but the back door is manual operation, same as the front of the building”
