Stay away from window and door installation service of Lowes. My project started at around August did all the paperwork , it has not been completed yet. They miss 1 window and my porch is still without window and door. We have been constantly reaching out , dealing with folks at store and phone, they are so disorganized, especially sales guy with no proper communication once paper is signed.I am disappointed with their service & project planning.

They removed all of the checkout lanes with cashiers and a replacing them with self checkout I walked around for about 20 minutes trying to find something. The only employee that asked me anything was trying to sell me solar.

We are an older couple who was helped by Dave N in appliances. HE is awesome, totally focused and helpful. As a sales person he should get a pat on the back!!

I asked for mouse traps and that's what I bought. There was an old-timer who told me all about the traps and which ones won't snap while putting in the bait.

Lowes is consistently okay if you need something asap. They are over pushing self checkout and always have at least two people watching everyone wait in line. The checkout process is often very slow and frustrating. There are still a couple knowledgeable tradesmen in some of the departments but less and less each year.

A person goes to an interview for a position and the manager shows up at 6:00 am, sleepy and can't do it and didn't know how to ask the interviewee!!! Disappointment of place!!

We just bought a new refrigerator here. Dealing with the sales staff was OK, although it was difficult to find someone to help us sometimes, and we are happy with the fridge itself, but the delivery service was awful. The first time they came, without the advance notice that they tell you they'll give you, they simply dropped the fridge and left. It wasn't properly setup and wasn't even unwrapped! Primarily, the doors weren't leveled. When we finally got someone to come back out, about a week later, they said it couldn't be fixed and we'd have to get another fridge, which took another week. Then it was dropped off, but again it wasn't setup properly and the fridge itself wasn't level (and again wasn't unwrapped!). On the third try we finally got someone who came out and in 15 minutes set it up properly. It had been about 3 weeks without a fridge. I will never buy an appliance from Lowes again. The store kept blaming the delivery people, who blamed the manufacturer, who blamed the store.

I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I moved to the area 8 months ago and visit this store very often. The staff is always super helpful and pleasant. I went in at 930 on Friday night and there was a couple buying a lot of things checking out at closing. Diane had her stuff with her and was walking out the door but saw me waiting and dropped her things to cash me out. That's exceptional service. I used to manage a retail store a long time ago and you don't find people like this anywhere. Well done!! I also chatted with a couple other guys, one in the lumber section and he helped me find a piece of PVC and then walked through practically the entire store to help me find something else. And there was David in the paint department who was also super friendly and helpful and walked me to various areas as well. A couple days prior I was cashed out by super helpful woman in the lumber section. You guys have done a great job hiring some great people. Thank you!!

Wish I could leave zero stars. Very upset. Ordered a washer and dryer unit in store and scheduled a delivery and paid for parts and installation. The day of delivery they removed our old washer and dryer and replaced with the new only to tell us that they did not have the parts to install it and we needed to call to schedule a different delivery. Fast forward five days later (with no washer and dryer) and the delivery drivers show up and tell us they are picking up the washer and dryer to return it. When we tell them we needed the parts and to have it hooked up they said “we have the parts on the truck but you have to pay for them with cash”. At this point I’m fuming, but for $30 cash I don’t want to deal with this and I just want it hooked up as we haven’t had a washer or dryer for a week. Pay them for 1 of the 3 parts only to tell us they cannot finish installation without the rest of the parts and we must call to schedule another delivery. My fiancé is now on his way to go purchase the parts AGAIN and install himself. I have tried calling a supervisor all afternoon and keep getting put on hold. I’m extremely upset with this company and the fact that I can’t get in touch with anyone to rectify this. We expect a full refund on all the parts and installation as we have had to do it ourself at this point.

Got a grill for my husband. Put it together it was dented. Not there fault. Did return and I recommend you have them put it together.

Unresolved Door Installation and Customer Service IssuesI purchased a door from Lowe's during their 2022 Black Friday/Cyber Monday promotion. Since then, I've faced unresolved issues, including incorrect measurements, poor installation, and inadequate customer service.On January 17, 2023, the door jam for the front door didn't match original measurements during installation. The back door and storm door were installed poorly, causing damage. A work order was issued the next day.Lowe's customer service did not respond by February 6, 2023. I was promised a follow-up, which I didn't receive. I contacted the installer directly on February 8, 2023, to express concerns.On February 28, 2023, the PROs returned with the front door but didn't address the back door issues. They left nails in my driveway. Another call was made to customer service on March 8, 2023, promising an assessment.By March 20, 2023, the front door hardware was malfunctioning, causing the door to blow open and my dog to escape multiple times. Another work order was issued on March 28, 2023, but the PROs only brought pushpins/screw covers instead of a door replacement.On March 29, 2023, the front entry finish work was coming loose due to improper use of staples. Despite a promise from the store manager on April 18, 2023, no follow-up call or appointment was set up by April 22, 2023.Despite promises of resolution, I've received no updates from Lowe's.

Not the place for contractors mostly home owners stuff. Not that im a home depot fan but you can actually buy more of a variety of merchandise then Lowes.
