We just bought a new refrigerator here. Dealing with the sales staff was OK, although it was difficult to find someone to help us sometimes, and we are happy with the fridge itself, but the delivery service was awful. The first time they came, without the advance notice that they tell you they'll give you, they simply dropped the fridge and left. It wasn't properly setup and wasn't even unwrapped! Primarily, the doors weren't leveled. When we finally got someone to come back out, about a week later, they said it couldn't be fixed and we'd have to get another fridge, which took another week. Then it was dropped off, but again it wasn't setup properly and the fridge itself wasn't level (and again wasn't unwrapped!). On the third try we finally got someone who came out and in 15 minutes set it up properly. It had been about 3 weeks without a fridge. I will never buy an appliance from Lowes again. The store kept blaming the delivery people, who blamed the manufacturer, who blamed the store.

I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I moved to the area 8 months ago and visit this store very often. The staff is always super helpful and pleasant. I went in at 930 on Friday night and there was a couple buying a lot of things checking out at closing. Diane had her stuff with her and was walking out the door but saw me waiting and dropped her things to cash me out. That's exceptional service. I used to manage a retail store a long time ago and you don't find people like this anywhere. Well done!! I also chatted with a couple other guys, one in the lumber section and he helped me find a piece of PVC and then walked through practically the entire store to help me find something else. And there was David in the paint department who was also super friendly and helpful and walked me to various areas as well. A couple days prior I was cashed out by super helpful woman in the lumber section. You guys have done a great job hiring some great people. Thank you!!

I ordered appliances about a month ago. The first two times Lowes tried to deliver them they showed up many hours before the delievery window with no warning. Of course no one was home. The third delievery showed up with damaged appliances. I was assured they would get it right after their customer service department penned a case and "escalated" it to a manager. I should mention they said a manager would call me within 24 hours but no manager has ever called me. Today would have been the fourth delivery attempt. The window was from 9:30am-1pm and was confirmed by a automated telephone call the night before. I waited until about 1:15 when it had not arrived yet called the number on the order. I was informed they changed the delivery date to next Tuesday. The customer service people the the usual transfer you around a bunch. Then I was told they are un able to cancel or refund the order. That they need to reopen my "case" and have a manager call me within 24 hours. I doubt anyone will ever call. I have disputed the charges with my bank and will not make the mistake of shopping at Lowes again. I would suggest you look elsewhere for appliances or any other products that would be delivered.

DO NOT ORDER A FENCE FROM THIS STORE: $14k PROJECT STUCK IN LIMBO -We signed a contract with Lowes (rep Mark Yetter) for a fence for our backyard on 4/28/22 and was told their sub-contractor could start in mid-June. -Mid-June came around and we hadn't heard from anyone, so I reached out to Mark and received an auto-reply email saying he was no longer with Lowes. I called the business line on his card and was told to contact the call center from now on. -I've been on the phone with the call center 10+ times (each call ranging from 30min-1hr), and they tell me every time that we are waiting on a special-order gate. They say there has been an issue with the store not placing an order with the vendor. -Whenever the call center places me on hold to reach out to the store for an update on the gate, they come back saying that "all of the managers are in meetings right now." -As of 8/26/22, there is no ETA on when the gate will arrive or when the project will start. -About 80% of the rest of the material was delivered to my house on 8/12/22, and has been sitting in my driveway ever since. One whole side of our yard is going to be chain-link, and no chain-link was delivered to my house, so I'm uncertain they will have all the material needed when the gate finally does come in. **If there is anyone who cares at Lowes who sees this: what will you do to make this right? This is a $14k project, and you are hanging us out to dry. I am not confident this project will be started before winter, and we have paid a sizable deposit. With the way things are going, I'm not confident the subcontractor will have all of the required material once the project is finally started. Would we be hung out to dry again if that were to happen? If you are unable to deliver on this project, will you ever admit it and give us our money back?

I ordered a garage door opener and paid for their "installation", if you can call it that. The idiot was here for hours. He put all the heavy stuff from my old opener in the recycle can. I will not even be able to get it out the curb it is so heavy. Then he tells me he cannot program the keypad. He's trying to call Genie but there is a 3 hour hold and he tells me he cannot wait 3 hours. He leaves. I don't even have a garage door opener. Then I call Lowes over and over. It rings off the hook. They usually just pick up and put you on hold but sometimes they just pick up and hang up on you. My phone counts the calls...6 total...How's that for quality customer service???? I finally get through to a human being. He said he would transfer me to a manager. She answers. I tell her what's going on and she hangs up on me. My only alternative? Dispute the entire charge...Just what I did..Try calling me Lowes..I'm busy too and sometimes my phone rings off the hook...Sometimes I pick it up and hang up on the caller especially if I see the caller is lowes. Stay away from there. Home Depot is a much. much better place.

Came to Lowe's on Thursday December 16th 8:40 pm. As I walk in im 3 steps from return desk there's an employee by the service desk in an employee jacket it said Lowe's I had said hi she says I'll be right with you in a rude.tone as she's pushing an empty cart to the foyer I said okay no problem can I just leave these sit here and go grab what I need quick as I was doing a return nobody else at service desk. Shortly before close completely ignored me as if she hadn't heard me 5 ft away from me! she turns around and walks past me with an attitude abd again says not a word and I said excuse me did I do something to you is there a reason you just completely ignored me she becomes for foul raises her voice and said I didn't hear you. Excuse me! first of all you're in customer service turn your tone down secondly always apologize all I did was ask you a simple question she then proceeded to start arguing with me and I said now you're arguing with me I'm not arguing with you then why are you exchanging words at me honey all I'm trying to do is return some lights that didn't work don't make this complicated don't give me attitude and certainly don't laugh at the customer which she did she laughed at me. I would not recommend keeping this employee mind you I come to this Lowe's several times a month literally purchase every time nothing cheap always spend a good amount of money this is atrocious disgusting she doesn't say anything else to me takes my receipt takes my lights to do scans doesnt ask if there was anything wrong way am I returning nothing body language very sassy. as she's nearing the end of the transaction I said I'll just take back to cash she laughed again and said okay no problem she took take the cash out of the drawer so hard it hadn't closed and she had to close it again slams the door shut rip the receipt off the printer gives me only the cash and the return receipt here you go have a Merry Christmas! I think you Meant happy holidays there's nothing merry about Christmas but whatever even though I don't celebrate Christmas I was buying these lights for an event not related to Christmas large corporations like this are no longer using such small words even though they're meant. With good spirits Thebway she said it was very condensing. some customers who do not want to hear you say merry Christmas cuz I don't want to be bothered by you. They want you to leave them the hell alone do their transaction and let them go about their business this is not the first time that I have had issues with returns at this Lowe's another employee once was Snappy with me tried to tell me she couldn't find my transaction so I asked for a manager he had no problem finding that transaction some of the employees here are phenomenal but the ones with the poor attitude the ones who snap at customers act like they don't hear the give customer service a.bad name I myself work In a customer service like field servicing the public but in a much faster Pace environment and in amore stressful Environment breath Colleen relax. Be graceful have common courtesy respect your patrons the number one thing and had to deal with a customer and customer service I'm sorry sir I didn't hear you my apology that would have been the appropriate way nothing further to say!

I was shopping on Saturday, I was looking for blinds for my slider. I looked everywhere with my boyfriend. We asked a guy I did not get his name he was black in the window department where they were. He told me I had to buy a new window, my boyfriend said what are you talking about!!!!. He accused him of yelling at him. My boyfriend started yelling at him ( this is yelling ) they exchange very bad words. So much so that everyone came to see what was going on. This lazy person was so stupid!!! WE wanted a blinds for our slider not a new slider( he was thinking of screens that fit the slider and are hard to match). This jerk did not know what he was talking about, uneducated never left his seat!!!!!! We found a very, very, nice woman, who not only knew what we were talking about. She brought us there and told us what to buy that fit perfectly. This guy should be fired!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THis was in milford mass location

I really appreciate the quality products and friendly, patient staff here. My boyfriend and I walked in about 15 minutes before close to grab a dehumidifier and the staff were super friendly. I asked for help and was immediately pointed in the right direction, finding what I was looking for. After deciding on the 35 pint Hisense Dehumidifier, we go to pay cash at the self checkout and the bills get jammed in the machine. I was using a bunch of small bills (oops) on a purchase of $211 and there was probably five minutes to close. The male staff member at the self checkout had a great sense of humor and was super kind and patient as another female staff member fixed the machine for us. Once we got home and let it run for about 3 hours the basement floor was COMPLETELY DRY! The tank filled up about halfway and I decided to turn it off myself, although it does have a automatic off feature. I'm so grateful we were able to run in last minute and get what we needed, because I could not bear another night of wet feet. Thanks Lowe's Milford!!

I LOVE Lowe's! Before I drove an hour to this Lowe's because they had the special product I needed, I called to make sure it was in stock. The employee in the Garden Center was very helpful and quickly verified it was. When I got there, the same woman was helpful and informative. She had been busy reorganizing a section, it is Springtime and the Garden Centers have been quite hectic. But she came right over and helped me load the items into my cart. I so appreciate good customer service at Lowe's! We have owned a real estate investment and renovation company for 10 years, so we do business at MANY Lowe's, we have not had a bad experience yet. Curbside pickup has been SO convenient.

We bought a a new stove and bathroom fixtures and had a lot of trouble getting everything installed then we found a manager named Bob Dupuis at this store and he took care of us! The guy is a superstar. Great attitude, great work ethic. As a result of his efforts we'll continue to shop here.

So... i was offered a position as a department supervisor. I agreed to the phone interview... and no phone call. Upon further investigation, management here appears to be... less than efficient. Thank you but no thank you Lowes, I'll bring my 10+ years of supervisor experience elsewhere.

Just moved here, so I wasnt tainted by the reviews until I reading them just now. My assessment so far. 1. The parking lot design is a mess. I have almost had two accidents pulling out of the lot within the past month. I also dont understand why there are so many pro-services parking spots. I see random dudes parking there, so i do the same. 2. COVID has been rough on Lowes. It is completely hit or miss with the curbside pickup. Sometimes they have it ready quickly. Other times, who knows how long it will take them to pull the item. My last effort involved an item that turned out to be a special order. We had to cancel the entirety of the order since they wont pull the other items until the special order comes in. After several weeks and no idea from the vendor with the attic door would arrive, we just cancelled the special order. 3. Being from VA, I thought all Lowes were set up identically. Not this one. Row 1 has all the specialty hardware and such. Normally it is light bulbs. It is just enough different from other Lowes to throw me off a bit. 4. A highlight is that everyone has been friendly and helpful! 5. Lumber has been sketchy so far. Really mangled 2x4s, bowed, and lots of knots. I have to go through half the stack to get decent boards. Even when looking at some of the premium lumber, I have a hard time finding good boards. Lastly, the cashiers have been a bright spot. Extremely friendly and helpful. I also find that in general, the store is kept up and clean, as well as the restroom. I am a fan of Lowes because you cant beat their prices as compared to the smaller hardware stores. However, I can see myself heading to the smaller stores for small purchases and leave some of the bigger and numerous item purchases for Lowes.

I was so surprised to see so many issues here like mine. I have an HD in town which is way more convenient and super quick (less than 2 hours) for curbside service; but they didn't have what I needed. Lowe'd did. So I ordered on-line Friday morning thinking I would pick it up after work. Well, here it is Monday morning and my order is still in "processing" status. Ugh!!! I don't see a way to cancel the on-line order, so I am going to stop by the store tonight to see if I can just pick my own order. I am clearly disappointed in the service.

Very disappointed in the "Curbside Pickup". If you need it fast - don't bother. They don't tell you that it could take 3-5 days until after you call and ask for status...
