Had a great experience with Salesmen Joey. He went above and beyond to help us with purchase of our new Hyundai. And it didn't stop after our purchase. He has checked to make sure everything was good. We recently had an engine light issue and couldn't be seen till the end of the month. Called Joey and he was able to get us right in to check the codes.
Thanks for a great experience.

Bought a brand new Tucson hybrid there from pie-in-the-sky salesmen, and its infotainment console died within a week. They kept the car 3 weeks and did nothing more than a reboot. Still doesn't work. Salesmen not at all concerned. They got their money. Would buy anywhere else first.

You guys got an amazing team there. You gotta give rob a raise. He went above and beyond for me when my Kona engine blew and I was a little bit out of the warranty. He managed to get me a whole new engine. Gotta get back all the comic stuff in the show room though it looked so good

Barclay made me feel at home and taken care of from the moment I walked in the front doors! He was so accommodating and understanding and did everything he could to get me to a monthly payment I could afford as well as get me into the car of my dreams!!! I’m very happy to have had the opportunity to work with him.

Took my car in for recalls and other work done..when I got my car back and went to use the remote start my alarm goes off. So I called and they said it needs to be reprogrammed and to call another servicer, but it will cost me $150. Was never informed that this would happen and all Kari said was “you’re right I didn’t inform you. I apologize and should have”. I don’t think it’s fair that i wasn’t told about the change and now have to pay for it. Especially when I bought the car and had the remote start installed at this dealership.

I already had a oil change and I was told the diagnostics needed to be looked at because of the trunk, but could not because they were closing I did not know the trunk had diagnostic problem.

I have dealt with a lot of car dealerships over the years, but my recent experience with McGovern has far and away been my best. Joey was excellent, honest, and genuinely interested in making sure I had a good experience. I never felt pressured, even when meeting with the sales manager and the finance staff. Just a really positive overall experience.

These guys get 2 stars because I ended up getting the car I wanted, which is a bit harder to find than a standard Hyundai Elantra, but overall the experience was fine at best to deceptive at worst. I bought a used 2018 Hyundai Elantra GT Sport about 4 months ago. I saw a listing online for a price I thought was fine and if it drove fine and they weren't willing to budge on price I would still buy. When I saw the listing I immediately called and made an appointment to test drive the car. So far everything was going pretty okay. I got out to the dealership, met with the sales guy and guy who picked up the phone. They were both very nice and I went on the test drive. Everything was fine with the car. It drove well and I was ready to do the whole negotiating process. This is where things started to go downhill. For reference I arrived at the dealership around 5:30pm.
Now comes to the negotiating process which is where, as I said things started to go poorly. I did a bit of price negotiating, but they were firm on the price so I said fine and we started to move forward. I was brought out a breakdown of pricing and on that were two charges on it that I questioned. The first was a warranty I didn't want or qualify for so that was taken off without issue. The second was a "doc fee". For those that do not know what a doc fee is, it is essentially a fee the dealership can charge, BUT IS NOT REQUIRED BY LAW TO CHARGE. If you don't believe me, please search "doc fees Massachusetts". For filling out documents on your behalf, i.e. their job. In my opinion this fee is absolute absurdity to charge a customer, I as the customer have no ability to fill out the documents myself (only read and sign) that is a part of selling a car to me and it just shouldn't be a cost to the consumer. Any way it was a sales manager that presented that price breakdown and when I mentioned I wouldn't pay a doc fee, he effectively yelled at me and said it is a requirement by Massachusetts law to charge a doc fee, which is a straight up lie. While a dealership often can choose to charge a doc fee or not charge a doc fee, when they do it is usually the same fee across all customers in order to avoid liability, discriminatory, and/or unfair and deceptive practice allegations. But that doesn't mean they are required by law to charge one and so much for avoiding an unfair and deceptive practice allegations on the managers part here because he did lie to me about doc fees being required by law. Eventually he did take the doc fee amount (around $500) off the price of the car, so I let it go, but if you buy a car from here I would insist on not paying the doc fee and walk away if they pressed the issue including taking that amount off the price of the car, it now is a trust issue. But in my particular case at the time I wanted that car at that trim level so I pressed on.
Next came the financing portion it's probably around 7:00 or so now. Anywho I wanted to put down probably about a 70-75% down payment. They said this "wouldn't work" and long story short eventually I agreed to $1,000 down with a rate I thought was around 8%. It was a more grueling process than that, but I would hit a character limit describing it.
I then waited over an hour for the financing person. That is just unacceptable, hire more financing staff if that many sales are occurring. Anyway I get in the financing office and it is now after 9:00pm so I am exhausted and I signed a bunch of documents and left. I then checked everything I signed and realized I agreed to a 12% rate which is insane, I do realize this is my mistake, but I called to try and get it reduced in some way, but ultimately I did sign at that rate so not much I could do. Once again delving deeper I'd hit a character limit. Regardless, I took ownership of the car and as soon as possible I just paid off the car. My sales person was great, but the sales manager just lied an
