Another $250 charge to a Discover card. We charged $41 at the gas pump and when we came home, we had an email that our card had $250 Block on it from this location. We called and Owen said he was not sure why it does this but it’s happened before, and it will clear out and go to the exact amount, I’ve never heard of such a thing. We’ll have to wait and see what happens. The Discover rep asked us if this station was near a highway and we said yes. It seems this happens often. We were told that the merchant is responsible for setting the block amount at their location. This is so wrong and it should be corrected.

Needed a quick fill up before heading home and this Garrett's was convenient and had good prices for gas. Place was clean and the service person inside was perfectly pleasant.

First time client noticed lower gas prices and decided to get some. Pretty sure the amount was $25.00. Made sense because it's not that i really needed it at that point. Did not bother to take a receipt. I come home and there is a $250 charge to my Discover. Not Happy!!! Called the store and they said that it will be refunded within 24 hours and blah blah blah. Anytime i have used a new gas station out of town there is a $1 charge that gets refunded, how does this establishment gets away with charging $250?Wasted time making phone calls to store and bank, and follow up to make sure that it was taken care of.Not impressed."Time is money" and if i need to waste my time getting aggravated, there goes my saving at the pump.By the way the charge that went through was $29.99. Will always take a receipt from now on.

I have liked this store in the past but I'm not sure anymore. 9.99 for a case of water this morning made by polar beverages just seems ridiculous. At the very least it was marked up 60 percent. That is taking advantage of consumers. Prove me wrong and I'll take this down.

I would give 6 plus stars. Great place, great prices, very helpful staff. Had the best chicken cutlet sub for a very reasonable price.

Clerk accused me of stealing a soda at the self checkout, would rate 0 stars if I could. I have been coming into this store every week for the past 3 years on my lunch break, and many employees know me. Today I grabbed a mountain dew out of the fridge and very quickly operated the self checkout and paid for the drink. There was a new person at the counter who looked at me when I started checking out, and then looked at me again as I completed the transaction. I assume that in their head they didn't see the chain of events that happens when someone operates this self checkout. I hit no receipt and then proceeded to leave the store. The guy behind the counter shouted at me as I was leaving that I didn't pay for the drink. I reentered to the store and then he proceeds to point out all the cameras looking at me and continues to accuse me of stealing the drink. At this point I am starting to get pretty angry, and who I presume to be the store manager comes over to deescalate me and the employee who have gotten into a shouting match. It doesn't matter what kind of business you're operating, it's a very bad business practice allow standard employees to verbally accuse customers of presumed theft. In any retail environment other than a convenience store, this would be an automatic termination or high level written warning. I regretfully need to warn others that swift operation of a self checkout can lead to false accusations of theft here.

Lost my wallet at the Garretts in Milford, MA. Knew it had to be there so went back that night and the Attendant said he couldn't review the camera but if I were to return the next day, the Manager could look for verification that it did indeed fall on the ground by my car. Showed up at 7 AM the next day, the Manager would not come out and talk with me. Instead, told the Register attendant to let me know he could not help. Never showed his face. I own a service business in town and we field calls like mine all the time and always happy to help. Poor training, maybe but I also dropped a note on their company web site and...crickets. No reply. My Real ID, 4-credit cards, Logan parking pass, health insurance cards were all in that wallet. Now going about the business of cancelling/replacing everything. Not a good look. Buy your gas from a local Milford Station.

I don't recommend this place. Dropped $1.50 for the "air" machine and ended up with a couple of PSI less in each tire than before I started. This machine just took my money.
