This place is my second home. The envrionment, coaches, and teammates are amazing. I have made so many great memories here and I hope I'll continue to make more. When I'm here, I feel free, I can clear my head. I love it here.

There are no words to describe how grateful I am for this gym.It all started when I was searching for a gym willing enough to take the not so great level 8 gymnast that I was, due to the closure of my previous gymnastic home, because of Covid. My first day at YJ started off with a kind welcome from the gymnasts and coaches, and I immediately felt included and part of the team. Not only is the team spirit in the gym very high ( which creates a sort of serial atmosphere), but the coaching staff is out of this world. Coach Jana is a professional coach with years of experience, and is someone who goes above and beyond in her work. Not only is she dedicated to her work, but she takes it to another level in her kindness and genuine concern for the mental health of her gymnasts. Vasco, a knowledgeable and experienced coach (and former Olympian) is the perfect punch for this powerhouse team. His kindness and concern for his gymnasts shines though every practice.Because of the atmosphere and the coaches, I was able to go from being a mediocre gymnast in level 8 to placing at Eastern Nationals in level 9. Clearly, YJ’s gymnastics model works very well.Above and beyond the metals, the community that I was a part of was amazing, and something that I am so grateful for. The Korman owners have an amazing operation, and they are the most down to earth people I know. Even as a former gymnast, I am still connected with my gym, and I could not be happier. Doing gymnastics at YJ was the best decision I ever made.

My son had his 1st tumbling class today and it was so fun to watch. The gym was huge and they utilized a ton of space. Tara was great with him too. We both are excited for his next class!

As a gymnast who's been attending Yellow Jackets for going on 7 years, and has loved every second I've been there, I'm extraordinarily saddened to learn about to homophobia in this gym. At a recent practice I heard a coach refer to someone by their dead name, (a name someone no longer uses). I corrected the coach by saying the preferred name of this person and the coach looks at me and says "We aren't allowed to use that name here." The person who is purposely being dead named is the owner (Carrie's) son. (former daughter). I am absolutely in no way upset with the coach, they are doing what's required for them to keep their job. I am however absolutely disgusted to know that the owner can't even respect their own son's sexuality, name, or pronouns. So, if you are a trans gymnast, please do not go to the Danvers Yellow-Jackets, as most likely you will be mistreated there. And, if you do not like what is currently happening at this gym, you may also want to find a different gym. Please find a gym that you feel is safe for you and your family.

Terrible management and very unprofessional coaching staff. There is no respect towards gymnast or parents. Staff is there simply for their pay check and could care less weather you or your kids are having a good experience.

We bring our daughter her every year while visiting family to keep up with her training. They have a great facility and staff. We would be here full time if we lived here. See you every August!

We sent an elementary school-aged boy to introductory classes here and he rrally enjoyed it. I'm not a gymnast, but it seems like a pretty well-equipped place. They also sell snacks and gymnastic supplies.

Unfair coaches that play favorites with the athletes, the gym is dirty, and very overpriced. DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS GYM AT ALL!
