I have been taking my pit Bull here for years. His tail always starts wagging as soon as we walk in. The daycare, training, and grooming are all amazing and so is the staff

I have always relied on the experience of others to tell if a business is worth giving a shot. I read the reviews of New England Canine, and was cautiously optimistic. But I was desperate because I needed results with my older, set in her ways pup who has had to get used to a new baby in the house. Well, my wife and I have been clients of theirs for about 2 months, and I have to be honest, I have no idea what these people who gave terrible reviews were experiencing??? Because we've seen nothing but progress with our bichon, and we really love the staff. I've met the owners multiple times, and they're the most down to earth people. I feel like I've known them for years! So, we will continue to bring our girl there because she loves it. And she comes home exhausted! Now we don't constantly worry about our dog's apprehension turning into something dangerous with our infant. She's got a way to go, but it was the best decision we made. I guess the moral of the story is you can't please who can't be pleased......

Training team is excellent, customer service, special care and attention to each dog, the fact that my dog LOVES going here speaks for itself. They sure are Committed to Excellence. If you have a dog, I HIGHLY recommend becoming part of the New England Canine family!!!

It was with my upmost disappointment to express my concerns about New England Canine and their un-professional staff. My significant other and I originally chose to send our 7-month-old GSD to New England Canine because it was held in high regard for training. New England Canine also allegedly offered a “Boot Camp (Protection/6+ months old)”, which we were originally having trouble finding a training facility that offered protection training. During Turbo’s evaluation, the woman that was evaluating Turbo was kind, however lacked knowledge of New England Canine’s services that are listed on both the website and the intake form. During this process, this woman barley acknowledged Turbo and we felt it was more of an evaluation on us more than the dog. When we asked this woman about the “Boot Camp (Protection/6+ months old)”, which was $6,000 she stated that she did not know anything about this program, but would find a sheet which would go over the training criteria. At the end of this evaluation, we were told that she could not find the training sheet and did not know where or how to find it. I would like to emphasize that we were only going to be spending a minimum of $43 a day, however were willing and WANTED TO spend $6,000 on protection dog training. Training/daycare:The first day we dropped off Turbo we sent him with more food than needed for the day assuming we would be getting the remaining amount back when we picked him up, however we did not. When we picked Turbo up, we were told by the very un-professional staff that he “smelt” and was “sticky”, so they gave him a complimentary bath. Turbo is 7 months old now, and we brought him home when he was already 5 months, making this already a challenge. The night prior, we are conducting crate training so he may have urinated in his crate during the night. I was grateful that they gave him a complimentary bath, however this is not why we are sending Turbo to this facility. We were simply sending him to be trained. I have no issue picking him up after the daycare training and bathing/ grooming him on our own. We sent Turbo to New England Canine a total of 3 days for daycare/ training. What we did not expect to be Turbo’s last day at training, we were once again greeted by the unpleasant staff. Again, we were advised that he smelt bad and that he was sticky, and that staff would no longer be providing complimentary baths. I can assure you that I washed my dog prior to going to New England Canine on this exact morning and advised staff that he has dry skin and we are using a rub on his stomach to treat the spots. The only response that I received after I was questioned about his accidents was that they would make a note about this conversation in his file.We then asked the staff what type of training he has received in the past three times he has been there so we could help him progress with the training. Staff was very rude and stated “basic commands” when asked what type of basic commands because there are many, they were unable to tell us. There has been no communication with what time of training Turbo is and was receiving at no point in time. This raised a major concern for us as we are spending money each time that Turbo is being sent, yet we are unaware with what he is being taught for an entire day.Furthermore, my significant other and I wanted to see the facility in case we did decide to board Turbo during a vacation. We were advised that were not privileged to see the living quarters for the animals which is a major concern if we are debating in sending part of our family there to stay overnight. This leaves us to wonder what kind of conditions they are keeping the dogs in for them to not allow their cliental to see.Due to the blatant un-professionalism by staff and the lack of knowledge in training programs as well as transparency in training/ boarding we are forced to never send Turbo back to the facility.

I brought my GSD here for boarding and I will most definitely be returning! We were all nervous to leave him for a few days since we’ve never left him before, but they took amazing care of him! He can be a lot to deal with and they truly cared about making him feel comfortable there. I am so thankful to have found a place that treats my dog as their own, and I highly recommend them to anyone with dogs!!

With so many positive reviews, we were excited to send our dog to this daycare. We toured the facility about a year ago and met the owners. Unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience. Our dog came home sick several times recently with KENNEL COUGH and was often covered in FECES! This tells us how unsanitary the conditions must be. As a result, we have incurred additional expenses at the groomers and vet's office to get our dog back to a healthy, happy, and sanitary state. We voiced our concerns numerous times to management and simply received: "I'm sorry you feel that way" response. Never a SINCERE apology for returning our dog in such deplorable condition, never mind an offer to refund any money paid to offset our grooming expenses and vet visits. We feel greatly disappointed and would strongly caution dog owners to send their dogs here. What a shame that better cleaning and sanitation protocols are not practiced consistently here to ensure the safety and well being of our dogs!

My family and friends use their services. Top notch! 10 stars here for this place. Knowledge is rampant among the staff. Training team is excellent here. The fact that they can take on the dogs that other kennels won't take or let staff even touch speaks for itself. They are right on with their motto of Committed to Excellence. Check them out!

You have no idea how stressful it is to leave your dog(as it is a family member as well), but when you do have to, bring them to NEC. Sammy was so happy to spend the night, which made her week stay even easier for everyone. Highly recommend for any dog training or overnights! Thanks again NEC for watching and keeping my furbaby safe!!

Easy to schedule, very accommodating and I loved speaking to trainers Amadeo and Colie. They were knowledgeable about training service dogs.

When we first brought our Korean meat farm rescued boy to NEC, we were facing years of anxiety, behavioral issues and aggression. NEC was our last hope as we never had luck with any other trainers and thought it was just going to be this way for this dog. After sticking to a routine with NEC and bringing him weekly, he began to trust the trainers at NEC and they have made so much progress we didn’t think was possible. We’re now able to cuddle and show affection to our dog without him getting aggressive or being dismissive, he listens to us 80% better, he walks 100% better on a leash, and is more confident in himself and with us. NEC has saved our dog and ourselves from so much heartbreak and we are forever grateful.

This is the only facility I can trust for my Working Line German Shepherd's boarding needs! The last place I used I had given explicit instructions to keep her away from other dogs, and handle her as little as possible. Upon picking her up she would never have her collar on, and had a gash above her eye that turned Into a scar?At New England Canine, I've never even had to give them any instructions, which speaks volumes on how much i can trust them! I've used them twice now. Each time for about a month. The last time they even bathed her, which once again I found impressive. My point of contact here has always been Andrea, she's been very good with communication, and I know Emma is always very excited to see her! From what i understand, all the staff here seem to be able to handle Emma. At other places they would turn her away, or end up mishandling her. If you're having any doubts about this place, DONT!

I can’t recommend New England Canine MORE. My dog is a NE Canine for life and has been for over 5 years now. Before moving to the area, my dog had been to several facilities and I can say by experience this is by far the best. He’s come a long way to where he is today with all his training, and I don’t know what we would have done without New England Canine in our lives to help. The peace of mind the team gives me while my guy is at daycare or staying overnight is priceless - and I never have to worry. I can tell from his behavior that he loves it there. The team truly treats my dog like family, and they will become part of yours like they have become part of ours! The New England Canine team is compassionate, caring, reliable, knowledgeable, and trustworthy to say the very least.Thank you Rob, Michelle, Jamie, Andrea, Mike, and the rest of the team!
