Food is excellent, unfortunately 75% of the place is closed and under construction so choices are really limited

I love this place. Its simple, not a ton of variety, anesthetic leaves a lot to be desired, but lower market prices on "home-made" food items made onsite is a refreshing change from the usual high priced farm stand pricing. Soup bar, as mentioned by many is top tier.

I absolutely love this place. Love the soup!!! Every time I'm in the area, I stop by to get soup!! They always seem like they're closing or remodeling or something though. Not sure what that's about, please don't close :)

Once again they "close at 5:30" when their sign on the doors (and google which can be wrong) says 6pm. If you want people to come back you should try sticking to the hours you advertise. Makes me not want to come back regardless of their food.

Pretty sure this place is going out of business. The salad and soup bar were there but they didn’t have- crackers, baked goods, and half the store was shut down. What a disappointment. It used to be so great.

The best soups in MA! I would go as far as saying in New England because I’ve been all over and haven’t found a soup shop like this.

Farmer Brown's used to have the best chili. It had to have been made with over 50% beef in loaded with large chunks, unlike any chili I've ever had and it kept me going back regularly! That was before covid. Since we returned to our so-called New Normal, Farmer Brown's has changed to some weird kind of new normal, at least with that recipe and no more crowds. They sadly destroyed it. If it has 10% beef I would be surprised. I used to have to wait behind people often hoping they wouldn't run out as people were filling up their containers at the soup bar with what seemed to me to be especially the chili, but the lines are gone and the chili is nothing to write about. In fact I still go there once in awhile hoping they'll bring it back but I'm starting to give up now that it's been about 2 years and it's still the same boring chili that may be out of a can for all I know.. ?

My daughter drives by after work and stops at Farmer Brown to grab soups, etc. periodically and grabs me stuff too. I love to make soup at home BUT sometime I like taking a break from cooking. Because I make soup often I have a tendency to be a bit fussy when having it elsewhere. That said, I could easily eat Farmer Brown's soup on the daily. I've probably tried most of them and they are absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Thank you FB for making quality soups , etc.
