The facility is a nightmare for spectators. Parking when the complex is busy is minimal. Beware, the next closest location is the local sheriff's office--parking in their lots will garner a fine.Basketball facilities are temporary and require spectators to crowd together at one end of the courts. Further, the flow of foot traffic passes between onlookers in the scant bandstands and the courts. A well-attended game will require standing or binoculars to observe a match.There is one entrance to the field/basketball courts, and pedestrians pass through the portal single-file when going in and out. When the door becomes jammed with people, spectators must navigate a line of people between them and the playing surface to see what's happening.I found my experience at Essex Sports Center wildly frustrating and, at times, unsafe. Beware if you have a basketball event here.

Place is crawling with pigs inside and out, nowhere near enough parking, and predatory tow goons waiting to swarm. Avoid (which is easy because you wouldn’t be able to park anyway)

Worst basketball courts North of Boston. Complete skating rink. Better off finding an outdoor park and practicing there… disgrace that they continue to charge teams to play on that miserable surface.

One rink seems nice and has plenty of light. Other rink needs new lighting. Boards are sticky from old advertisements. Referee room is a small bathroom turned into a Ref room. There is a dunkins and food available which is a plus.

Very clean and well stocked store. The two employees I spoke to was pleasant. One of them went out of his way to answered all my questions pertaining to their own line store vs their store purchases.

2 rinks - ice is good and locker rooms are clean. Huge parking lot, busy place and has a well run and staffed Dunkin as a bonus!

This is a great sports complex, two ice rinks an indoor field house (football field sized indoor turf court), sport shop, Dunkin donuts and a pizza joint all under one roof.
