If i could give ZERO STARS I would. I made a reservation and entered my credit card information online. I arrived at 11am promptly at my reservation the next day, And they tell me that there is no cars available. I asked why did it allow me to book a reservation if there was not any cars. Dan who was really rude told me he called me in the morning to let me know there was no cars available, however I never received the call. I noticed a car outside and asked if that vehicle was available, and he said the car is reserved for a 1pm pickup. I told him well iam here now and he immediately said its not his problem as he called me this morning to make me aware. I felt as if im there already they could have called another customer last minute and canceled just like he did to me, and allow me to rent the vehicle available. This place is ridiculous for allowing people to rent if there is no cars. I have my credit card info on file and that makes me extremely uncomfortable. Not to mention i rented from here before years ago and the vehicle smelled like cigarettes and had stains all over, there for not much has changed but its gotten worse! Kuddos to you for your lack of communication and unwillingness to accommodate! I had a real emergency or i would have never gone here! This was my last option!

No cars available. I tried 4 different cars. No quote either. I want at least an estimate before getting stuck on the phone for 20 minutes or more.

I apologize my review is long overdue!I rented a new car for a month from Xpress car rentals in October 2022, after my car was in an accident. The transaction was very smooth and easy. Dan and Ken are very Courteous, friendly, flexible, understanding and easy to work with. The car was immaculately clean, well maintained and great gas consumption. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to rent a car. I will definitely rent from them again.

I have had great experiences and This was my 2nd time renting a New car from Xpress car rental at their Methuen branch. When I called them to book a car they were sold out but they promised to get me a car within 24hours. They actually called me for one within 4 hours! I initially rented it for 10 days but ended up extending for a month. The owners were very understanding, accommodating and flexible of my need to keep extending the return date untill my car was repaired. The price was very affordable and cheap compared to other car rentals. The owners were very friendly and easy to work with. Thank you guys for such great service.The car was great, very clean, ran efficiently and great gas mileage. I highly recommend them.

Don’t rent there read your contracts also I think should be illegal to put on a contract to authorize payments without getting verbal agreement by renter even if it’s on contract even if you owe them regardless they have alll your info and take you to court for non payment and they threaten a mom of 3 kids for payment with the police like you have all my information and I have children please I would not recommend renting there you can say whatever to this post not going to change the reviews and more other bad reviews you have

Website allows for reservations that company doesn't allow. Reserved a vehicle online, received a phone call and tried calling back with no answer. Showed up at store to be told they don't do one day rentals and turned away.

Horrible experience, the owner is very rude and hard to communicate with they charged my insurance more then we agreed for $ 30 a day they increased it to $50 a day , never used them again

Nice clean cars with unlimited miles within the New England area. Ken and Dan are the rental agents there. Both are great guys that go out of their way to deliver a quality service. My wife and I have rented cars there for vacations and concerts. I highly recommend this business.
