I scheduled a trailer hitch installation a few weeks ago. When I showed up at the scheduled time to get it installed, the person at the desk informed me that the only person who does the installations is out on vacation. The person who does the installs is also the general manager of the location, and the person at the desk said I could try texting him to see if I could get a hold of him. I texted, but never a response. I needed the installation done soon for my own upcoming vacation, so I found another location that could perform the installation that same day, 45 minutes away. If I had known in advance, maybe I could have found a closer location, but at this point, I was low on time. Afterwards, I returned to Methuen to ask how I get a refund, because the online orders are paid up front. There was now a different person at the desk, and he didn't typically work at the store. He seemed very competent, but was having trouble helping the customer ahead of me because that customer's U-Box had gone missing and there was no record of it at the store. When he took a break to help the other customers building up in line, he was very nice, but couldn't help me without the manager there. A few days later, I received a partial refund via email. It appears that they attempted to refund me the service, but not the parts. However, the parts were listed on the refund with a different price than I paid, so whatever they were trying to do makes no sense. Plus, it's not like I have the parts -- they should have refunded in full, but instead only refunded about half. Finally, I received a link to write a review of the store on UHaul.com. I filled it out with basically the information above. Days later, the site shows my 1 star review, but without the text. Since there is a newer 5 star review *with* text now, I have to assume they deleted it from mine.
