Had the WORST experience with customer service especially w LALA THE MANAGER. Extremely unprofessional Someone is taking $60k in saving and checking to another bank . I gave my deposit slip and watch the girl have a conversation with another teller for five minutes then realized she had work to do. As in like depositing my money

I use the branch on Jackson st a few times a week. I wonder if this bank even has a manager. There is always 6 employees in the building but seems like nobody is working. Tellers are at the windows but never open. I've waited 10 minutes with no other customers in the bank while they all just wander around looking over each others shoulder playing on the computer. Absolutely horrible horrible horrible. Sad because this branch used to be awesome.

The last time i went there, all the people that work there and help my wife and i were gone. Notify the person that my identity was stolen, she didnt even care . Im surprise , before they help me with many things , our acconts plus lend us money. Want to and need to go back for more business , but dont know.

This is for People's United Bank as a WHOLE The most disorganized and unreliable bank I have ever dealt with. I can't tell you how awful this bank has been so far! I opened a joint account my my mother in December because I was moving overseas. We have the lady the address we wanted anything being sent to and told her that it was important everything went to that address. 3 weeks go by and still no debit cards. I call and tell them and request them to send me new ones. 2 weeks go by and still nothing. My mother then goes into the local branch and explains to them again that we have not been receiving the debit cards. The lady orders them again. My mother ends up getting hers sent to an address other than the one we had given to them which the account was under. I called to asked them what was going on because at this point it has been almost 2 months and I haven't gotten my debit card and my mother has got hers sent to another address. Finally when I spoke to a manager on the telephone they told me my mother's card had been sent to her home address because because that was the address in her profile. They also told me that my card was being sent back to the bank because my name wasn't on the mailbox. Here are my problems with all of this. Why did the lady fail to mention that my mother's card was not going to be able to be delivered to the address ON THE ACCOUNT knowing that she had a current account with them with a different address? Since she knew it was my aunt's address why was she not aware of bank protocols that mail (such as debit cards) will not be delivered to an address unless the person's name is specifically on the mailbox? Why in the 2 times I called and that 1 time my mother went to the bank in concern of not receiving our cards didn't anyone notify us that they were being sent back to the bank? Actually if they were being sent back they should have notified us without us even having to call! During my complaint to the manager she said that I could change my address online to my current overseas one. So I hang up and get on the computer to try and do this quickly so that maybe I can get my card in the next month BUT it actually doesn't allow you to change your address to anything outside of the United States!! I feel that people who work for a company should be more knowledgeable of the company's system.

Worst bank every stay away from this bank, especially the one in Methuen on Jackson Street. Horrible customer service, Manager whose name start with A, is horrible, rude and has no respect for the customer. One more thing if you are every in the need of withdraw 500 dollars from your money as all the banks let you do, forget it they only allow 400 a day even if you have thousands.

I was in a real jam several years ago and needed to find a rest room really fast. [I know why the chuckles...you've been in a similar situatuation, have'nt we all?] The convenience stores on the block, the other merchants all had rest rooms, but not for public use. Being desperate, I went into Riverbank, explained my situation, and although they werfe a small branch bank with no public rest rooms, they let me use their staff facilities. They even offered me coffee & asked if they could be of any further help! I don't know if you realize how much that meant to me, so I told them I'd be back to open an account there. True to my word, I returned & found out that I could get the best interest rates, better than any other bank in the area. I've been saving money there ever since, just watching it grow. Now. THAT, boys & girls, is a full service bank!
