A friend recommended this place, that is actually a small bodega, saying it was good South American Food, not good at all; food was average, service ok and the ambiance of a bodega(market). The prices are not according with the quality of the food or the service/ place, will not come back.

The only place I know of for some amazing Ecuadorian food! I sometimes come from Concord NH just for this! The staff are always so helpful and have great suggestions when I'm looking for something new. I love that I can get a great meal and shop for other grocery items - all from Ecuador - at one spot.

I used to be a frequent loyal customer, however there is a new cashier with a quito type accent looks like an elder lady with brown skin , that whenever she sees me , she tries to raise the normal store prices to her own modified prices, often increasing by several dollars or more as a way for her to steal and make extra profit from customers of her own race . This is something that people from the sierra do often in Ecuador to the tourists who don't know the local prices so they take advantage of them, to rip them off and charge them way more than the normal amount. It's shameful how these unprofessional business practices are brought with them over to the United states. Recently I was charged 3.00$ extra for a bag of chocolate cookies that, just last week, I bought for 11.00$ and when I brought it to the register the girl rang it up as 14$ . I called the store afterwards when I noticed I overpaid and told her i will no longer be doing business with them for overcharging me that way as if I'm a dumb tourist with extra money to spend . She claims her prices have gone up which is not true , because she only raised them to try and steal from me a few extra dollars which results in this market permanently losing a loyal client . You don't do that to your own kind of people. It shows greed and that's a fast way to lose respect and reputation for dishonest business practices. As a result I will no longer spend any money here and will pass this information on to others so that they no longer contribute to this market either. In addition to this , the prices to order on doordash from their menu are overpriced as well by several dollars compared to what the store normally charges . Awful business practices for greed . I'm from Guayaquil Ecuador de los akacias and I know the local prices well . In fact , a bowl of encebollado sells for 1.50$ anywhere in the coast and over here at this market the owners are from Quito and they charge $14.75 in the store and 16.00$ on the doordash app not including tax . Just an example of how overpriced their menu is . It's not even close to the same quality of preparation to these typical Ecuadorian meals that I have seen in Ecuador. Often the way they cook it here at LJ market is too watered down and the other food they sell is too salty . They are the only Ecuadorian restaurant in the area since the other ones are in NY and NJ and CT but this LJ market has disappointed me by allowing some quiteña cashier to modify prices as she pleases whenever she wants to overcharge customers and cause them to never return and do business. The ambiance is not good .

Moved to Boston 14 years ago and have been searching for an Ecuadorian restaurant all this time! I found this place by accident and wish it was years sooner! The food is amazing, like my abuelita's home cooking! I had the bolon de verde for breakfast and took home a Caldo de Bola which was amazing! My husband had the fried Pargo and my daughter had the arroz con menestra and chicken. Both dishes were delicious. I can wait to try something else next weekend! The market is also awesome. I bought some Pilsner. The folks are also so friendly!

Good Ecuadorian place to sit down and eat great food. Fast service after ordering from a good Ecuadorian selection. The Market corner store has a good variety of Spanish product from frozen snack food to candy, ice cream. Spices, crackers and juice mixes are also part of the selection of Ecuadorian items.
