I was lucky enough to take part in a “Joy of Painting Master class.” It was an Annie Sloan tutorial class led by her brand ambassador Jonathan Marc Mendes. Truly attending this class was a highlight of my winter!! The shop owner “Colleen” was the most gracious host at the 2 day event. Check out the classes she offers you will not be disappointed! “It has been a wonderful experience working with Eric at Eric's Solid Oak Furniture to have our heirloom quality chairs built by the Lancaster Family. We picked Oak wood for our chairs. Erik educated us about the different types of wood for the chairs, the different designs in terms of comfort, and provided us the best customer experience throughout the process of selection of the chairs. He helped us select the right stain for the chairs as we had our dining table (made of reclaimed Chestnut wood) made from a different store. Eric worked with us on getting the right stain to go with the dining table (even before the table was made). It was an informative and excellent experience working with him. We now have beautiful set of chairs that completes the dining table and our family will experience it for decades to come. I highly recommend Eric's Solid Oak Furniture, especially Eric who is a gentleman and knows what it takes to make a customer happy.”

Immediately upon entering the store, we knew we'd found it. The experience was perfect, and there was no sales pitch. There doesn't need to be when the product is at this level of beauty and quality. I learned a lot during this process, and I developed a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship and care that it takes to make and import our new set.
