Great prices on great footwear. Always purchase boots from here. It's been around a longtime. Son is keeping his father's legacy going. Great service. They also repair shoes.

HORRIBLE service. The day I dropped off my boots he explains that he is going to make an additional smaller hole on my boots' straps so that it can stay in place when placed over the button. (The top piece of the button had broken so the original holes on the strap were now too big). When I return to pick up my boots. A new button had been added on and now my shoes had two different types of button, one large silver one and the original button which was smaller and bronze. I express that if a button was going to be replaced then both should have since now there are two completely different types. The owner's response was that his worker could only find one. WHAT? So in your right mind it makes sense to return a shoe to a customer with two different color pieces? Instead, of reaching out discussing the options with me or asking me to wait longer to pick them up so you can order enough pieces. Regardless, I expressed how displeased I was and the owner stated there wasn't anything he could do. I asked if he could put the original buttons my boots came with and he also said no. On top of that, he is unable to give you an exact price for the service. When I dropped off the boots he told me one amount when it came down to pay it was twice that amount. Just be very careful, I had brought another potential customer with me that day to drop off her shoes and he also couldn't tell her an exact price. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I've been bringing my shoes to be repaired to Consentino for a very long time. Unfortunately I will not be returning again. The prices for shoe repairs have increased significantly ever since another gentleman was hired to do the repairs. I was charged $35 for a heel repair for a man's shoe. And was told that it would be another $10 for some type of spray and shine to clean the shoes! Anyways, had to go a second time because the heel started coming off! Go to the Town Cobbler in Methuen instead - they charged $17 for the same service...much better job!!

the guy at this place doesn't know what he is doing. My mother went in to have my shoes cleaned and her shoes fixed. Before my mom went in my shoes were a ankle high light brown leather shoes with laces and a zipper on the side boots, key word light brown. As for my mother's shoes they were a crissed crossed heels and at the tip they were opened toed with a loop in the front. As told in the beginning I wanted them cleaned since they were a little scuffed up and my mother needed to get the loop in the front fixed. When she went to go pick them up she noticed on one shoe the loop was fixed but on the right shoe it was not. Then on my shoes the guy DYED my shoes a dark brown he didnt clean them he DYED them. I would understand if he wasnt able to fix them ok but you dont go ahead and not tell the customer that he is going to dye them a completely different color. Some people might think its the same color trust me its not, the boots are cuffed at the ankle so when the guy "cleaned" them he uncuffed them and then cuffed them again and you can see the two different colors. I wouldn't go to this guy to get your shoes repaired after from this experience unless you want your shoes to be dyed without being notified

This is one of the best shoe repair stores I have ever seen. The owner is a true cobbler, and he does EXCELLENT work that stands the test of time. His orthopedic adaptations are great at a fraction of the cost of what a specialist would charge.
