“My husband and i just had a wine/ food pairing at the place -- it was awesome. I have to echo everyone else , Frank is knowledgeable ( yet very humble about his knowledge) friendly and personable. We also loved his thoughtful and unusual approach to wine and food pairing. I thought i have some knowledge about wines but i still learned quite a bit from Frank... just make sure to ask questions! I forgot to mention- do yourself a favor- go to the next door (literally to door to door ) small restaurant and get mushroom pizza :)”

“We went to the Smoky Quartz Distillery tour today. Kevin, the owner, was our tour guide. What a fun and informative time we had. He is very knowledgeable about his trade and made us feel so welcome. We tasted a nice variety of excellent samples. We left with many bottles, complimentary glasses, and a hat. The store front is very inviting and carries his many Smoky Quartz bottles as well as various local products. This veteran owned and operated business is outstanding. I highly recommend attending a tour. If you can't make a tour, you can buy his products on site as well as at your friendly NH Liquor Store. Give his products a go, support local business, you will not be disappointed!”

“The cashier wouldn't acknowledge my existence. Talking to every coworker under the sun about every topic you can think of. I mean just squeeze in a "how are you" or "hello" or tell me my total instead of just continuing your inane conversation while you wait for me to insert my card. I mean I know it's a darn liquor store but wow. What happened to basic politeness.”
