Kim has been absolutely amazing with our 6 year old female dog! She had always been a little aggressive on walks and after she had come in contact with an off leash dog that ended up biting my husband, she was SO MUCH WORSE. We knew we had to do something but thought, is it too late since she’s already a little older? We contacted Kim and got private training sessions and now we feel such a relief and weight lifted off of our shoulders knowing we can bring her anywhere and she will listen to commands (as well as build our confidence as owners)! Kim and Hex changed our lives! 12/10 recommend!! Thank you!!

I can't say enough great things about Hex. We are taking our puppy to their puppy training class along with their Hang and Train and the hands on training that we have experienced has been great. A very different experience than we encountered at another local training center where the training was basically done by handouts for homework. That's not the case with Hex. I wish we had started with them first. We will be enrolling in additional classes once we finish this training program.

HEX has trained 2 of my dogs. One just passed his K9 Good Citizen class. Kim is great with dog behavior and teaching how to communicate with your dog.

HEX does something so much more important than dog training. They help you shape the behavior of your dog so that your dog is happier and so are you. I have brought two very different dogs through HEX. One was a pitbull rescue who was afraid of his own shadow. Cassie and Kim brought him out of his shell and gave him so much confidence. He started to have that pitbull smile and became so much more sure of himself. It was because they gave us the tools to train him and socialize him. We were able to home him with his perfect owner in a forever home. We still keep in touch and he is doing great! We learned so much about dog behavior and it transformed our dog. Our next dog was an overly exuberant cockapoo. She has tons of energy and can hardly control herself around people because of her excitement. She was also pretty timid around other dogs. Cassie helped us learn how to rein in her excitement and she has become so well trained that she passed her Canine Good Citizen test before the age of two. I never though that would happen! I can't say enough about HEX and Cassie and the other trainers. They are supportive and helpful with all kinds of dog issues. I travel over forty minutes to go to classes because I won't go to anyone else.

We have brought our little guy to hex for almost 2 years. We are so proud of the progress he has made (and we have made). The team has been great! We never thought after getting sent back to puppy class that we would make our CGC. Our guy mastered everything on that test. We can't recommend Cassy and Kim enough.

They offer positive, common sense training and are very dog and owner friendly! I have taken two dogs to their classes and have been very happy with the results. I am looking forward to continuing with my pups socialization and training.

I have owned many dogs over my lifetime and had many, many training experiences. Honestly most of them were not particularly useful and the worst of them were potentially harmful. As a proud owner of bully breed dogs, I feel it is really important to ensure that they are good ambassadors of their type and are safe and reliable family companions. There are many dogs and dog breeds that are tough to train, and it is imperative for good outcomes and a happy dog/owner relationship that a training class take into account how to deal successfully with a "difficult" dog. The trainer needs to know what tools are appropriate and how to keep everyone, dog, owner, fellow students happy, relaxed and safe. I searched and searched for a training center that I felt would give that sort of support and for trainers who have the knowledge and skills to allow my pup and me to grow, advance, and gain a solid and trusting relationship. I found all of those things at HEX. Cassie and Kim are talented trainers who take the time to get to know the dogs and owners. They build successful teams. They are true animal lovers who know that teaching a dog to be a responsible canine citizen can be fun, but it also a serious responsibility. My dog Luke and I admire them so much!

I've been attending back-to-back classes at HEX for about a year now (since my dog was a puppy) and have had an extremely positive experience. Their knowledge of dog training is incredible and they cover everything from puppy classes to problem behaviors, to confidence building and trick training. They do require a private assessment before you can start taking classes but it's only because their classes are not one-size-fits-all. They want to make sure that they place you in the class that will be best for you and your dog. They offer a variety of different classes that suit everyone and they don't see all dogs as the same. If you're looking to train your dog, then this is the place to go.
