“I never write reviews, but I cannot say enough good things about Fran's Auto Repair. I knew something wasn't right when I heard my breaks squeaking, I brought the car in and Patrick, Fran's son took a quick look and automatically he was so honest about what he thought was wrong. He said that they would need to take a closer look and I was very nervous about the price because so many places will rip you off. He told me he would call be with a rough estimate and tell me if he thought anything else needed to be fixed other than the breaks. He said I could leave the car overnight and he would call me in the morning. I got a call from Fran the owner, he was so honest and straightforward with everything that needed to be replaced. He gave me a rough estimate and a few hours later I was picking my car up and they did an AMAZING job! Not only do they give the BEST prices in all of Boston they are the most genuine hard working people. When I picked the car up Fran was so honest and even taught me a few things about cars, he's honesty and genuine kindness will have me going back anytime I have a car issue. “AC Auto is the only place I want to take my car. John and his employees are extremely kind and honest and do the best work using only the best parts. I’ve come to them with issues that were something like an oil light being on or a transmission light due to another company failing to turn it off. They always help me out. They are so good to me I question why I ever went anywhere else. As a woman who does not know cars, it’s nice to go somewhere that’s so honest. They won’t do work they don’t think is necessary and won’t do any work without me knowing what it will entail and the cost. They are really the best. They also will do local pick ups for my car or pick me up and drop me off. I haven’t taken advantage of that yet but it’s a huge relief knowing they have that’s option.”

“Honest team. I reached out initially to ask for a transmission quote for my r50 cvt mini cooper and was suggested to bring it in just to confirm that is the way to go. After test driving, they confirmed the transmission did need to be replaced. They suggested that for the repair price, it was just not worth it to fix it. Appreciate the suggestion, I was able to trade in the car and used the repair money for another car, less headache. If I ever have transmission issue, I'd definitely come back again (hope I never have to though!)”

“Well I brought my GMC Yukon in for a transmission code. The day I dropped it off was extremely busy. I knew up front that diagnosis, parts and labor would take time. I was called with a quote and received my vehicle back a few days later. I noticed at pickup the front and rear sonar system wasn't functioning. Upon further investigation, I discovered damage to the front bumper. When I called and spoke to Andrew, he said he would check their cameras. He apologized and paid for the damage to my vehicle. “I took my car to this shop because my ABS and traction control lights were on - they took a look at it and noticed that my front left strut had broken as well. They physically showed me everything that needed repairs, we set up an appointment, and they fixed everything in one day. They even replaced a bulb that was out and didn't charge for labor. They kept my car overnight and did all the tests on the planet and determined that there was absolutely nothing wrong, and they explained everything they checked, everything they found, why they think it's fine, and what they think my dad saw. It's fantastic that they explained it all in a way I could understand (I asked a lot of "I don't know anything about cars" questions). And they are giving me the car back with no charge because they didn't have to do any fix. I would absolutely come back anytime.”
