“First let me start by saying; I completely understand how going to CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreen's, ect. offer the simplicity of one stop shopping, because not only do you get your prescription, but also your household needs in one store. However, if you're looking for that old school service, where when you walk in for something as important as your meds, you get greeted with a smile, by name, and as if you seriously matter, PLEASE try Green Street Pharmacy! My 82 year old mother stopped in there the other day to order a new cane. The owner asked her if there's a reason she felt her existing cane was no longer viable. She showed him how the rubber bottom had warn out. He told her there was absolutely no reason to spend money on a new cane, and comes out with a brand new rubber tap, and attached it securely and had her take it for a test walk through the store. His genuine concern and honesty took my mother back to the type of service you used to see many years ago, when a store owner wouldn't think twice to try to save their customer money, and bend over backwards to meet your needs. They can handle filling or ordering any item that the larger chain stores pharmacy's can, but you will ALWAYS get that phone call to let you know your order is ready, and you will ALWAYS be treated with the utmost respect. You will NEVER feel like you are inconveniencing them, or feel like you're getting the backlash from someone's bad day! Their impecable service should be the Industry Standard.”

“Got my flu shot yesterday so this is specific to the pharmacy. The good? The people, the chit chat, and the drama free approach. The bad? I am not looking for the bad, but when it finds me I make note. This place had nothing bad to note. Its right downtown so parking is tough. A woman thought she knew me and said a big hello and kept moving. I enjoyed that. The person that shot me up counted to three but injected me at 2. She is a pro and she's cool. The corporate side of these box pharmacies rubs me wrong, but the people make all the difference. This place has what it takes to get the five.”

“This is a very nice Walgreens where the staff is quick and efficient. The drive thru pharmacy is a major plus! Only downside is they need more employees throughout the store because when it gets busy everything seems to slow down a bit. Otherwise great store and in a good location as well!”

“I walked in to see if they can help me with a transaction. There are no Capital one banks around here, but CVS offers to do deposits and they helped me in seconds. Very kind and friendly.”

“I think CVS is very convenient in the neighborhood in Melrose. I love the stuff seasonally they get in you can look at and buy and the closeouts after the season ends. I love if you need something you know they are there and open a lot. Very happy with this place. : )”
