I have been a 20 year customer of Melrose Cooperative Bank and been very happy with their service. Since being taken over by Cambridge Savings Bank their customer service has become terrible. After 20 years I am now looking for a new bank!I don’t know who the bald guy is,, but he acts like customers are an inconvenience.

Worst service since Cambridge Savings took over. Barely any bank hours, went back to no walk ins. No extended hours....I mean who can come to the bank 9am to 4pm? Saturday hours but the drive through is not manned by a dedicated person so u have to wait for the INSIDE bank line to clear before they help u. Simply cashing a check during the week in drive thru with NO line can take 20 plus minutes. The drive through ATM is in the SAME flow as the drive through!! No quick ATM visits unless u park and squeeze between cars in line for the window!!! Hate banking here. Customer service is a joke...looks like they are trying to save money and blame COVID for doing so. Good luck getting an inside banking appy on a Saturday. Horrible. Do u like waiting 2 hrs on a Saturday to do banking and when u complain they send u to online banking? They even told me to come mid morning for shorter lines. Thanks

If you were part of the acquisition of the Melrose bank and you are disgusted with poor service and poor customer service , you should consider moving to Wakefield Coop. They actually treat you as a valued customer instead of an aggravation.

My account was part of the Melrose Bank acquisition. I am truly DISGUSTED with the POOR SERVICE CSB has provided in the transition. Here is the what I had to deal with in the past month:1) The account was not set up as a business account.2) I could not make any deposits on the mobile app ( you systems could not handle any deposits over $5000)3) The account final got set as a business account but I could not sign in (your system looked me out on first try)4) Your customer service rep didn't get back to me even though he said he would.5) When I called back to see when my call was not return as promise, I was told that he could not find my phone number ( great customer service).6) CSB rep had me reset my password ( I was told that I would not have to but I don't think your folks know what they are talking about)7) Finally, I was able to log in and to my surprise ALL MY PAYEES were deleted and I was told that I have to reenter them (again, I was told that all my information from pre-merger will be there)All I have to say is ,I need to find another home for my banking where the people that work there know how to handle business accounts.

First customer at 8am this morning. I Need to purchase a money order. "Are you an account holder?" I respond that I am not. The ATM is out of service which does not allow me to get cash. They suggested I walk down the block to Bank Of America which has a functional ATM. No problem. I came back ten minutes later with the cash and was told money orders are for account holders only. Huh? Perhaps the 7 people who directed me to BOA could have told me that when I asked about purchasing a money order ten minutes ago. Maybe ask if I am interested in opening an account. I ended up going to the Shaw's supermarket down the street to get the service I needed. Do we see a problem here?

The employees who work at this bank are like family! No other bank is as wonderful, competent and professional as Melrose Bank!

Convenient , Proficient, Great staff. Phone Customer Service is also great, reachable with a single phone call. I was frustrated with the online site not working for me but agent was very patient walking me thru the whole thing.
