The pharmacy staff are shockingly incompetent. I refill my medications every 30 days and it’s not an exaggeration to say there’s a problem nearly 50% of the time. They’ve filled the wrong medications, they’ve told me my prescriptions will be ready in an hour and then not filled them, they’ve filled post-dated prescriptions early resulting in unnecessary calls to my doctors office and insurance company, they’ve lied about having medications in stock, they no longer answer the phone (my medications must be called in) and they only return calls about 30% of the time, and there are almost always lines. I’m done. Switching to target even though it’s farther away. Hopefully they have staff with more than 2 brain cells.
TL:DR- DON’T GO HERE!

Every single time I go into the CVS on Main Street in Melrose, no matter whom I interact with, they're always so helpful and so thoughtful and very friendly. I love this store. And the pharmacy folks are always wonderful too!'

Very poorly run. If they don't have the medicine you're trying to get, they don't inform you and don't pick up their phone, it will say "order processing" for days. You have to go to the store to wait in line to be informed they don't have the medicine.

The Cvs app and the actual pharmacy don’t seem to be connected. I requested a medication refill twice in the app (for a prescription that was ready to be filled, and that I had refills on). Both times it was “being processed” for 24 hours, then got cancelled with out any notice (despite having email and text notifications turned on in the app and my settings). I eventually called the pharmacy (on hold for 25 mins) and they filled the prescription. But cvs makes it almost impossible to talk to a real person and their phone bot tells you repeatedly to use the app. It would be one thing if the app worked but it doesn’t.

This cvs is on my walking route home. I stopped in for tooth paste and felt like I was being followed because I had my backpack on. I admit, I'm not overally familiar with the store so I was wandering a bit....however an employee just happened to stop nearby....then asked if I needed help finding something. I was attempting to get in the self check out and get out asap! Not sure if the employee thought I was going to steal or wanted to be helpful. Seemed a little bit strange since the store was kind of busy. .

Got my flu shot yesterday so this is specific to the pharmacy. The good? The people, the chit chat, and the drama free approach. The bad? I am not looking for the bad, but when it finds me I make note. This place had nothing bad to note. Its right downtown so parking is tough. A woman thought she knew me and said a big hello and kept moving. I enjoyed that. The person that shot me up counted to three but injected me at 2. She is a pro and she's cool. The corporate side of these box pharmacies rubs me wrong, but the people make all the difference. This place has what it takes to get the five.

I love this CVS!! I was so disappointed with the CVS in Melrose, across from Walgreens. I walked out and left everything I put in my basket. The isles are wider, and the Pharmacy doesn't rush you. The employees actually enurage with customers instead of congregating in front of the store laughing & socializing with other employees like the CVS across from Walgreens in Melrose. This is the only CVS I will go too!! Also they keep your phone number on record so you don't have to keep entering it to get discounts from CVS card.

I forgot the Woman's name working at the pharmacy this Saturday morning. She had black hair and I think her name was Kaitlyn.What really stood out was her remarkable patience. We had several questions about our medications, and she took the time to listen attentively and address each of our concerns with utmost care.She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and valued as customers, creating a friendly and welcoming environment within the pharmacy.Shes truly a gem
