Cute little children’s store next to Ben and Jerry’s. They didn’t have a ton of stuff, but they had a cute book for sale, and the owner was really charming. I would recommend.

A really fun place for young and old alike, with a wonderful selection of books, toys, plush, and clothing. From the first moment you walk into the shop, you feel the owner's passion for the loveable tale penned by his father years ago.

I’ve been to this store four times. The first time, we had a great experience and bought a great quality puzzle for my three year old daughter. I returned a second time to get a second puzzle. However, I returned last fall 30 minutes after they were scheduled to be opened according to their website to a shuttered and closed store. I waited for a half hour, with now a crying toddler who had been promised a puzzle, and no one came. Honestly I thought nothing of it—Maybe there was an emergency. It’s a small business and i understand the challenges that come with that. I called the store and hour later, they said they are “there now” but we had already left the area.Wanting to give them another chance we went back today. the exact same thing happened almost 9 months later. The website says 10am open in one spot, 11 in another. Playing it safe I arrived at 11. Once again—a dark store. I waited for 20 minutes and once again carried away a crying and upset child. We won’t be back.

A must stop shop in town, Such an interesting store, with a fantastic story. It is a step back in time, mixed with a hint of today. The store owner is friendly and knowledgeable.

Good storefront. Love the fact they can open pretty much the whole front of the store. It allows for a larger entry letting more customers to enter at once. Product is comparable to like stores in the area.

We were walking around town and came across the gem of a store. The owner Paul Connelly was behind the counter and started telling us a story about these pair of elephants that performed on stage around the world and how his father knew them and was an illustrator/cartoonist! He was delightful and we bought the book to give to our grandkids. You cannot get the book anywhere but in the store. We shared other stories with each other but this is a delightful place you should not miss!

Ensure that you ask about the book, name, man on the wall and elephants. So glad I accidentally went in.. :)

I arrived 30 minutes prior to closing to find the lights off with no-one inside but a lady who was outside the door smoking let me in. I read several posts with 5 stars and great reviews. It is a nice shop with a few unique items. I wanted something unique to the area but didn't really find it. I did however make a purchase for which I had to pay next door at the spa.
