If I were able to make it more often than I do, I'd rate it 5 stars.
I joined about 10 months ago and have been something like 4 times and a not sure if I'll be able to make it a fifth time. That's partly on me (I live/work about a 30 min drive away or longer if I'm trying to make it during rush hour/right after work), but also: the hours aren't super friendly to nine-to-fivers. When I first joined I think maybe every week or every other week there would be a Thursday or Friday with a couple of hours when it was open in the evening (something like 5 to 7 or maybe 6 to 8?) and two weekend days (per month) with 2 to 4 hours of being open in the middle of the day - the bulk of the open hours being during business hours on weekdays. The open hours have varied with staff availability (understandable!), but for me it's been a lot harder to make it there than I anticipated when I joined.
If you can make it for their open hours more easily thanIve found myself able to (the weekend days kept clashing with other commitments I had, given the middle-of-the-day hours), I'd highly recommend joining, though.

I have been using swaplt since I had a baby and saw myself having to change all my clothes sizes. And swaplt was the answer for my problems! And helped again when I went back to work and again when I lost the extra baby weight And since them I have been a happy member and will continue to do so. I really recomend!

Swapit is a local treasure! Members bring in clothes that are no longer working for them and leave with new-to-them items that they will actually wear. It has helped me increase the number of items in my closet that I actually wear while also reducing my carbon foot print. Win-win!

SwapIt is great! Such an amazing concept and great way to expand my wardrobe without buying into fast fashion!
I’ve been a member for a couple years and love stopping in to swap. The staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to help or answer a question.

I stop in once a month and walk out with like 10 new things! They've always got cute stuff I love in my size! A lifesaver when you need to overhaul your wardrobe!

SwapIt is the best! I always find something I love and it’s easier to get rid of things I don’t love in my closet because I’m contributing to the SwapIt community!

After finding out about SwapIt earlier this year, I have been a walking advertisement! Whenever I go out, sporting something I found at SwapIt, I shamelessly plug how much fun it has been to try new clothes without the guilt of spending money or contributing to the landfills. I especially loved pulling together a group of my girlfriends for the Back-To-School Educators Styling session. SwapIt even threw in a delicious bottle of wine to kick up the celebration by a notch!

The shop was clean, organized, temperature check at entry and knew how to space out clients in the store. I love how well planned this swapping time was!

The first time I went to swap it for was for one of their clearing out sales. I got four items for five dollars. I love thrift shopping and getting a good deal. I joined their email list and found out about a virtual styling webinar. Through the webinar I learned a few concepts and joined style by text and Facebook with three additional webinars. I learned so much about styling and what works for my body and personal preferences without ever leaving my house. I attended one of their virtual dress sales and my dresses were mailed to me. The shop just re-opened to members. I bought a three month membership and I’ve already swapped for items in the first few weeks. When I went in yesterday For my appointment to drop off my swaps and pick a couple dresses up I felt safe. The owner took my temperature and I was able to drop off and pick up within five minutes of arrival. I am planning to book the store for one hour so I can shop alone without being worried about getting too close to other customers. I highly recommend joining swap it to anyone who is looking to feel more put together. I would say that if you are not comfortable wearing used clothes the swapping membership might not be for you, but you can still hire the stylists to make your own wardrobe work for you.

The store is very cautious with reopening and has all protection measures in place, plus an awesome selection of ever changing clothes to choose from!

Starting with the positives: I walked out with a few nice pieces and some ideas about how to wear things in my closet in new ways. Their prices are crazy good--on par with Goodwill. However, the prices are excellent because, like Goodwill, they don't seem to be too picky about what they accept. I was presented with several items that were pilling badly or stained. I understand that these sessions aren't just about gaining new clothes, but I do think that's worth noting. In terms of the service itself, my stylist was very nice, but she definitely didn't read the questionnaire I filled out thoroughly before the appointment, and she hadn't pulled anything in advance. Instead she asked me to look around and see what I gravitated toward. When I told her I needed some direction, she pulled things in a variety of sizes, many of which were not remotely right for me (including, for instance, a size 2 dress when I'm a size 12). When I told her an item didn't fit because it was the wrong size, she would say "Oh it's too fitted," or "Okay, you're intimidated by that," rather than acknowledging that it was simply the wrong size. She also encouraged layering of really heavy, textured pieces, which may work for smaller folks but just adds bulk if you're on the larger side. I tried the layering techniques since I was there to learn, but they just didn't flatter me. It was frustrating that she never acknowledged when a combination didn't work. She also tried to tell me that any dress could be worn in the winter with a turtleneck underneath--this style may work for if you're going for an early 2000s vibe in a casual setting, but I was there looking for polished, professional outfits for donor meetings. Overall, it just seemed like she had a few ideas, most of which work better on smaller bodies and/or were not at all my style, and she couldn't adapt them to me. I also went in saying that I had trouble finding pants that were comfortable, but my stylist only pulled two pairs of pants during my session--both of which were too small. Otherwise we focused almost entirely on layering sweaters over dresses, which, again, did not flatter me. I'm glad I found a few nice items, and I'm sure this works if your body is an easier fit in general, but overall this was disappointing.
