“I went here for a barbecue I was hosting last weekend, The pricing was more than fair. The food was amazing, and I got everything I needed. It's hard to find good reliable meat market's like this nowadays. I have McKinnon's Meat market to thank, they helped me find everything I needed and even offered some other options that might be better! They went above and beyond for me and I am eternally grateful! Highly recommend.”

“What a sandwich exactly what I needed for lunch absolutely delicious!!! And you know that you can’t leave a Butcher Shop like this without leaving with some kind of mouth watering delicious piece of meat ….. Little Filet Mignon was a perfect choice i can’t wait to try everything else. WOOWWWW and the ice cream selection!!!!!!”

“We grabbed two sandwiches and went to the nearby hidden park up the street (fantastic place to sit and eat - Temple Street Park). There was no seating available on the patio at CRCC.
All-in-all, we enjoyed our food for the most part. The sandwiches were very fresh and tasty. I enjoyed the #3 (Fried Chicken) and my wife enjoyed her #4 (turkey). The sides were just okay, not very fresh (we got one of each).
There is a selection of cheeses, sauces, and drinks. A bit of a smorgasbord of options.
We paid $38 (including one iced tea and tip). I know we're in Boston, but even that seemed a lot, especially considering it was not sit down and had no place to go right there.
Probably wouldn't go back and would try another of the many options in the area, but the sandwiches were fresh and tasty.”
“Fantastic chicken at great prices. Also have fresh eggs. The place is spotless with out any bad odors like most butcheries. The staff is always efficient and courteous. I can't go back to grocery store chicken.”
“Went here back in November with my big Sister, who was going to prepare some Oxtails & Pidgeon Peas and rice for me. This is an interesting place, although my Sister was telling me we used to come here all the time for meat when I was younger.
This is a butcher shop like on a wholesale level though, nothing fancy and they have a plethora of seasonings for said meat as well. Ethnic rice to purchase too!
According to my big Sister the prices were competitive if not better than the local grocery markets. It can be confusing to find as it is in an Industrial warehouse area but don't fret - they have all your meat needs covered.

“I love this store. It has almost all the dried beans, lentils, legumes you could ask for. There's lots of bulk spices and a good selection of tea. I haven't tried their meat, but everything I have tried has been good quality for decent prices. If you live in the area, this is a great shop to stock up on bulk supplies or grab an ingredient you run out of.”
“Larry Levine's has been a staple on the Northshore for quite awhile and Todd has carried on the legacy. His expertise in Kosher meats, and specialty foods is astounding. Go see him for your special parties or catering needs.”

The market has a big variety of products for such a tiny space. Come early while the 'cheesebread' and bread are most fresh.”
“Very thankful that Sulmona is in my neighborhood. Anything you want they can get it, and they are a full service shop. One of my favorites is the thin sliced chicken cutlets, sliced, flattened and wrapped right in front of you. I highly recommend these folks.”

“We go to AP all the time... the Dot location is cozy and the employees are off-the-charts nice. Quality of gourmet groceries, deli meats/cheese, and wine/beer/liquor selection are all phenomenal. I bought several people xmas gifts this year that were just little baskets full of things entirely from AP. Owner Matt went above and beyond when there was a mixup with something we ordered, dropping off a gift to our home. This is the sort of stuff that neighborhood patrons don't forget!”

I buy some items from this place that I can’t find in other stores. The only drawback about this place is that vegetables are sometimes not fresh, and they are still on shelves. The place is really clean and you feel welcome by the owners and staff.”
